Campgrounds and RV parks near Corrigan, TX

Corrigan sits in the Piney Woods of East Texas along US Highway 59, roughly an hour and a half north of Houston and within reach of Lake Livingston, one of the largest reservoirs in the state. The town works well as an RV base for families who want lake recreation, national forest access, and small-town services without long drives between stops. Private RV parks dominate the immediate area. The Good Life RV Park is a convenient stop right along the US 59 corridor, while Two Creeks Crossing Resort sits in the pine forests bordered by two boat-navigable creeks with direct water access to Lake Livingston. Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park and Cabins, North Shore RV Resort, and Lake Livingston RV Park cluster closer to the shoreline south of town. Most offer full hookups, concrete or gravel pads, and shaded pine settings. For public land camping, Lake Livingston State Park lies roughly 40 miles south and is the main state-managed destination in the area, with Davy Crockett National Forest and Sam Houston National Forest also within about an hour's drive.

Private parks around Corrigan, including The Good Life RV Park, Two Creeks Crossing Resort, Blue Sky Lake Livingston RV Park and Cabins, North Shore RV Resort, and Lake Livingston RV Park, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Booking a few weeks ahead is usually enough outside of holidays, but lakefront sites and pull-throughs for larger rigs can go fast in summer. For Lake Livingston State Park, reservations are handled by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Reservations can be made for today and can be made up to 5 months in advance for most site types. Reservations for a Friday or Saturday night must include both nights, for a minimum two-night reservation. The park often reaches capacity, so reservations are recommended for both camping and day use, and to guarantee entry visitors should reserve passes online or by calling the customer service center before arrival.
