Neither loop has sewer at the site, but a dump station is available on-site. Alligators are present in every lake and slough at Brazos Bend, so keep children and pets on the trails and away from the water's edge. The sites at the Red Buckeye Camping Area are pet-friendly. Gate access matters for late arrivals. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and campers arriving after gate closure should contact the park office earlier in the day to arrange access.
