San Antonio is the main draw. Travelers typically build day trips around the Alamo, the River Walk, the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, the San Antonio Zoo, and SeaWorld or Six Flags Fiesta Texas for families. Natural Bridge Caverns and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch sit between Schertz and New Braunfels and work as practical half-day stops with kids. Water is the other pull.
