Campgrounds and RV parks near Liberty, UT

Liberty sits in the northwestern Ogden Valley on the eastern slope of the Wasatch Range, a short drive north of Pineview Reservoir and about half an hour from downtown Ogden. The area gives RV travelers quick access to mountain recreation, reservoir shorelines, and the neighboring communities of Eden and Huntsville, while keeping I-15 and Brigham City within easy reach for supplies and dump stations. Campground options mix private RV parks with public land sites. Forest Service campgrounds around Pineview are developed but typically lack electric and sewer hookups, so travelers who need full service usually base at private resorts closer to the valley floor or west of the mountains near Willard Bay. Nearby options include Mantua Waterfront RV Resort and Century RV Park and Campground Motorhome Park for full-service stays, Willard Peak Campground for a higher-elevation forest setting, Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey along the I-15 corridor, and Willow Creek - Willard Bay State Park for shoreline camping on the freshwater reservoir west of the mountains.

Federal sites in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest around Pineview Reservoir are reserved through Recreation.gov, with a six-month rolling booking window. At Anderson Cove, everyone must enter the campground past the entry station where a site is assigned or reservation voucher is checked. Popular summer weekends sell out well in advance, so book as soon as the window opens. Utah State Parks handles bookings for Willow Creek at Willard Bay. All campsites and yurts are available for reservation on a four-month rolling basis; for example, on January 10 individual sites are available through May 10, and reservations can extend a maximum of 13 days beyond the last date of the reservation window. The Utah State Parks reservation call center can be reached at 800-322-3770 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time Monday through Friday. Private parks such as the KOA and the Mantua and Century properties take direct bookings through their own websites or reservation lines.
