Campgrounds and RV parks near Paradise, UT

Paradise sits in southern Cache Valley in northern Utah, roughly eight miles south of Logan and within easy reach of the Wellsville Mountains and Bear River Range. The town itself is small and residential, so most RV travelers base at nearby lakeside parks or full-hookup RV resorts within a fifteen to thirty minute drive. The valley floor sits around 4,700 feet in elevation, which keeps summer nights cool and shortens the shoulder seasons. Hyrum State Park is the closest public campground, with a 32-site lakeside loop at the north end of the reservoir, surrounded by willow, box elder, and maple trees. A short drive west, Mantua Waterfront RV Resort offers RV sites with 30 and 50 amp power, water, and sewer hookups, plus tent camping, bathhouses, and laundry. Other options within the trip radius include Traveland RV Park, Golden Spike RV Park in Brigham City, and Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey, all sitting close to Interstate 15 for easy arrivals from Salt Lake City or the Idaho border.

Reservation systems vary by campground. For summer camping reservations at Hyrum State Park, visit reserveamerica.com or call 800-322-3770, and reservations must be made 2+ days in advance. Outside the reservable window, campsites are available first come first served, payable via self-pay envelope. Private parks use their own booking pages. Mantua Waterfront RV Resort, Golden Spike RV Park, Traveland RV Park, and Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey each take direct reservations, with the KOA also bookable through the KOA network. Lock in dates early once travel plans are firm, since summer weekends fill quickly across the valley.
