Campgrounds and RV parks near Perry, UT

Perry sits on the eastern shore of Willard Bay in Box Elder County, along Interstate 15 between Ogden and Brigham City. The area gives RV travelers quick access to freshwater recreation at Willard Bay, the Wasatch Front foothills to the east, and Golden Spike National Historical Park to the west. Most trips base out of a full-hookup park in town or a state-park loop within a short drive. Close-in options run from private RV parks to a state-park campground on the bay. Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey and Golden Spike RV Park sit near I-15 with pull-throughs and hookups useful for larger rigs. Willow Creek at Willard Bay State Park puts campers close to the reservoir shoreline, while Mantua Waterfront RV Resort offers a setting on Mantua Reservoir just up Box Elder Canyon. Willard Peak Campground, despite the name, is a private full-hookup RV park in Willard near the state park, not a mountain site, and works well as a quieter alternative to the interstate-adjacent parks.

Sites at Willard Bay State Park, including the Willow Creek loop, are reserved through the Utah State Parks system on ReserveAmerica. Individual sites open on a four-month rolling basis: on any given date, campers can book about four months out, plus up to 13 extra days beyond that. Summer weekends and holidays typically sell out as soon as the window opens. Higher-elevation Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest campgrounds in the area are booked through Recreation.gov, with some first-come, first-served sites also available. Private parks including Brigham City / Perry South KOA Journey, Golden Spike RV Park, Willard Peak Campground, and Mantua Waterfront RV Resort take reservations directly through their own websites or the KOA reservation system. Booking two to three months ahead is reasonable for summer weekends.
