Nine Mile Canyon is the marquee attraction. The BLM-managed corridor is often called the world's longest art gallery, with hundreds of documented rock art panels made by Fremont and Ute people, plus historic homesteads, granaries, and the Great Hunt Panel toward the far end of the road. Most sites are short walks from signed pullouts, so families can tour by car in a half-day. The USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price displays dinosaur fossils from local quarries alongside Fremont artifacts and rock-art context. Huntington Reservoir offers boating, paddling, and fishing for rainbow trout, largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. The San Rafael Swell, Buckhorn Wash pictographs, Wedge Overlook, and Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry are all within a day's drive.

Late spring through early fall is the practical RV window. April through June brings mild days and manageable temperatures at both town elevation and up on the plateau.
