Campgrounds and RV parks near Richfield, UT

Richfield sits in the Sevier River valley in central Utah, just off Interstate 70 and roughly halfway between Salt Lake City and the state's southern national parks. The town is the largest service hub for more than a hundred miles, and it functions as the primary staging point for the Fishlake National Forest and the Paiute ATV Trail system. RV travellers use it as a base for Fish Lake, Capitol Reef, and the surrounding BLM backcountry. Commercial RV parks cluster along Main Street and the I-70 exits. Richfield KOA Holiday and Venture RV Park Richfield offer full hookups and direct access to the Paiute trail network. Monroe Canyon RV Park and Mystic Hot Springs sit a short drive south in Monroe, while Flying U Country Store & RV Park serves travellers heading toward Fish Lake. Beyond the private parks, the Fishlake National Forest manages a network of developed campgrounds at higher elevation, most reservable through Recreation.gov.

Private parks such as Richfield KOA Holiday, Venture RV Park Richfield, Monroe Canyon RV Park, Mystic Hot Springs, and Flying U Country Store & RV Park take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Summer weekends and Paiute ATV jamboree dates fill first, so booking several weeks ahead is recommended for hookup sites. Developed Forest Service campgrounds in the Fishlake National Forest, including Bowery Creek and Doctor Creek at Fish Lake, are reserved through Recreation.gov or by phone at 877-444-6777. At Bowery Creek, half of the campsites are available for reservation in advance online and the other half are first come, first served. Dispersed camping on surrounding BLM and National Forest land requires no reservation, subject to the standard 14 day stay limit.
