Vermont state park sites are booked through the state parks reservation system by phone or online. Camping reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance on a rolling basis, and reservations made more than 7 days in advance require a two-night minimum. Within a week of arrival, one-night stays are permitted any day of the week, subject to availability. Private campgrounds like Millpond Campground and Hazens Notch Campground take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites, and many hold seasonal sites that reduce nightly inventory in summer. Book early for holiday weekends. For the Quebec campgrounds, Camping Des Chutes Hunter and Camping Carrefour Des Campeurs, reservations are handled directly by each operator. RV travelers crossing the border need a passport or enhanced driver's license for every occupant and should confirm current CBSA and CBP rules on food, firewood, and pets before arrival.
