Campgrounds and RV parks near Manson, WA

Manson sits on the north shore of Lake Chelan in north-central Washington, surrounded by orchards, vineyards, and the dry pine country of the eastern Cascades. The town is a practical base for RV travelers exploring the long lake, with state parks, a city-run waterfront RV park, and rural farm stays all within a short drive. The closest developed RV camping sits across the lake at Lake Chelan State Park, a camping park on the forested south shore with 6,000 feet of shoreline and 139 campsites including 18 partial-hookup and 17 full-hookup sites. In Chelan itself, Lakeshore RV Park and Marina offers full-hookup RV sites and tent pads within walking distance of downtown, with a dump station, restrooms, and showers. Across the Columbia, Daroga State Park stretches along 1.5 miles of Columbia River shoreline with 28 partial-hookup sites and 17 walk-in or boat-in tent sites. Summerhill Farm rounds out the options with a private rural setting in the foothills above the lake, offering quiet sites on a working orchard and vineyard. In winter, the Twentyfive Mile Creek Sno-Park managed by the Department of Natural Resources serves snowmobilers heading into the surrounding hills.

Washington State Parks handles reservations through a central system at washington.goingtocamp.com or by phone at 888-226-7688. At Lake Chelan State Park, sites are reservable up to nine months in advance, with new inventory opening at 7 a.m. Pacific time each day. The park is open year-round, though winter brings reduced services and some first-come, first-served sites. Lakeshore RV Park and Marina uses a separate booking portal operated by the City of Chelan, with reservations accepted online up to roughly nine months ahead. Summerhill Farm books directly through its own listing. For Daroga State Park, camping is by reservation from May 15 through September 15 through the Washington State Parks system. A Discover Pass is required for day-use vehicle entry at all Washington state parks.
