Campgrounds and RV parks near Berlin, WI

Berlin sits in Green Lake County along the Fox River in east-central Wisconsin, roughly a half-hour drive from Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. The city serves as a practical base for RV travelers heading to Green Lake, the deepest natural inland lake in the state, and the surrounding chain of smaller lakes, marshes, and state wildlife areas. Campground options near Berlin range from rustic riverside sites to full-hookup RV parks. Eureka Dam Campsites offer basic riverfront camping on the Fox River just south of town, while Hattie Sherwood Campground and Green Lake Campground provide developed sites closer to Green Lake itself. The Green Lake Conference Center-American Baptist Assembly runs a large lakefront property with camping tied to its retreat facilities, and Pearl Lake RV Campground caters specifically to RV travelers with hookup sites. Most parks in this area are seasonal, opening in spring and closing after the fall color season. Weekend and holiday sites near Green Lake fill quickly through the summer, so early reservations are recommended.

Reservation systems vary by operator. Wisconsin state parks and forests use the state's official reservation portal on ReserveAmerica, which opens bookings 11 months in advance on a rolling daily basis. Green Lake County parks, which include Hattie Sherwood Campground and Dodge Memorial Park, take reservations directly through the county parks office, typically starting in the winter for the upcoming season. Private parks such as Pearl Lake RV Campground book directly through their own websites or by phone, and some require multi-night minimums on weekends and holidays. Group and retreat facilities like the Green Lake Conference Center handle bookings through their own reservations department. For summer weekends and holiday periods, waterfront and full-hookup sites often sell out months ahead. Booking as soon as the reservation window opens is the most reliable approach.
