Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park — RV Camping in British Columbia, CA

Perfect trailer for our camping trip! The host was so attentive and the rental came with everything we needed for a busy family with two young boys. We would definitely rent from Debbie again. Thank you for such a fun kickoff to the camping season!

I recently rented this trailer and had a fantastic experience! It was clean, well-maintained, and spacious, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable trip. Owner was incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free rental!

Mark made our camping experience at Birkenhead great. The camper was perfect for a fully stocked haven to keep us dry and warm. Mark and Tam are so accomodating; great communicators and took the time to show us all the little extras on the camper. Would highly recommend!

Ok so overall, yes I would rent this again from Hiroko / Paul! PROS - Excellent communication - On-time for pick up / drop off - Comfy bed - Came with a bunch of stuff that I didn't even know was included like firepit, bbq, 6 camping chairs, some games - Spacious CONS - The photos make it look so much newer than in real life. It's definitely been used and could use an update. But Paul did mention he was planning fixing and sprucing it up a bit - Floor was creaky. So if you are going to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night, someone's gonna wake up! - The queen bed was ultra creaky. Woke my wife up a bunch of times whenever I moved - Bathroom door was creaky (easy WD40 fix though!) In addition to that there were 2 other things: 1) Paul replaced the trailer battery to a new one, but it was a dud, so he had Hiroko drive up the old battery which unfortunately didn't hold a charge very well. It was fine for the most part, but by the morning around 5am, the furnace didn't enough power so it kept going on and off every 10sec or so. Couldn't go back to sleep and it started to get cold. Assuming that they get a new battery that works, this will be a non-issue for people renting after us! The gas-generator is a must-have! It brought the trailer back to life, furnace was running at full capacity, lights were full brightness, etc. 2) For some odd reason, we ran out of water the second day and no we didn't have a shower or use tons of water for anything else. Fortunately a friend had a hose, and Paul/Hiroko had 2 empty water jugs we used to refill the tank. Took about 6 jugs but that lasted us till the end of the trip. Hopefully this gets figured out! To conclude, yes we had some issues, but nothing was major and Hiroko/Paul were excellent to deal with. I had a positive experience overall and would continue renting this trailer again in the future =)
