Silverhorn Creek Campground is a reservable, unserviced camping destination set amid the dramatic mountain scenery of Banff National Park along Alberta's iconic Icefields Parkway. Nestled deep in the Canadian Rockies, this 45-site campground offers a peaceful retreat for both tent campers and RV travelers, with sites accommodating rigs up to 20 metres (70 feet). Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire grill, and firewood is available on site. Dry toilets, a picnic shelter, and solar-treated potable water are provided, along with greywater sinks for convenient waste disposal. Walk-in campers have access to food lockers for secure wildlife-safe storage. Perfectly positioned for exploring some of Banff's most celebrated natural wonders, Silverhorn Creek sits minutes from Waterfowl Lakes, Bow Lake, and the renowned Peyto Lake viewpoint — a stunning turquoise alpine lake popular with photographers and hikers. The surrounding wilderness provides outstanding opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, and stargazing far from city lights. All sites are reservation-only, making advance planning essential for a stay in the heart of one of Canada's most spectacular national parks.
