The trailer was a pleasure to use which included all the things we needed. It saved us time packing. Communication was great with the host, prior to pickup, during the pickup and after. We didn’t need to talk to them during the trip because the trailer operated as it should.

Jamie and Carol’s trailer was great! They were both so easy to work with. The beds were comfy, it was nice and clean. It was perfect for what we needed. There were some treats for the kids which was so kind. Jamie did a great job explaining everything at drop off for me. If I needed a trailer again I would definitely book with them!

Dorothy and John were great to deal with and communicated well throughout the process. The RV was clean, ready for pickup, and the fridge was already cold so we could load our food right away. The walkthrough was thorough, and the hookup process was simple thanks to their clear instructions. We had a great experience and would happily rent from them again.

What are the best campgrounds for an RV trip in Norfolk?

Norfolk is home to some of the best campgrounds on Lake Erie's north shore. Long Point Provincial Park offers electrical sites near a long sandy beach and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, while Turkey Point Provincial Park has shaded RV sites close to the water. Backus Heritage Conservation Area near Port Rowan is great for families, and private parks like Sun Retreats Turkey Point and Sun Retreats Willow Lake provide full hookups and resort amenities. When is the best time of year to take an RV trip in Norfolk?

The best time for an RV trip in Norfolk is from late May through September, when daytime temperatures typically range from 20 to 28 C and Lake Erie beaches are at their best. July and August are the warmest and busiest months, ideal for swimming at Long Point and Turkey Point, while June and September offer milder weather, fewer crowds, and easier campground availability. Fall brings the Norfolk County Fair and harvest season at local wineries like Burning Kiln. Winters are cold and snowy, so most campgrounds operate seasonally from spring through fall.
