I am not a seasoned camper by any means. However I have had the opportunity to rent a few campers over the last 2 seasons. This camper has been my favorite. It was extremely spacious, clean and fully equipped. We were able to cook and host dinner for 4 large adults without climbing all over one another in the camper during the rainy evenings. Brooklyn provided a full white glove service with delivery, setup, pickup and even a "how to" session to answer my newbie questions. I could totally get used to camping in this rig. I will be starring this camper in the hopes to rent it again in the future. Thank you Brooklyn!

When the phrase “above and beyond” was created , Shiloh was who they had in mind. Not only did Shiloh rent us his RV for a really important family reunion in Aurora (on the other side of the mountain range), he rented us his truck as well because our vehicle wouldn’t haul it. He truly went above and beyond to accommodate our trip, making sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us daily to make sure all was well. You are in good hands booking with him, he is a man of his word and I would be happy to business with him again. Thanks again Shiloh!!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Northglenn, CO

How much does an RV rental in Northglenn cost?

Renting an RV in Northglenn is often more affordable than booking Denver-area hotels. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes run about $175 to $275, and larger Class A rigs land in the $300 and up range. You will usually find the best pricing on an RV rental in Northglenn during the shoulder months of April, May, late September, and October when Front Range demand cools off. To save more, look for hosts who offer weekly discounts, free local delivery, or generous mileage allowances. Pro tip: book midweek pickups on Tuesday or Wednesday to dodge the Friday surge of Denver travelers heading to Estes Park.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Northglenn, Colorado?

Your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Northglenn, no commercial driver's license or special endorsement is required, even for larger Class A motorhomes. Colorado allows standard license holders to drive recreational vehicles for personal use, which covers essentially every rig on RVezy. You will need to be at least 25 years old and upload a clear photo of your license during the quick approved driver verification step at checkout. Visiting from outside the United States? Bring an International Driving Permit alongside your home-country license. First time renting an RV? Your host will walk you through every system at pickup so you are confident before you roll.

What if I need to cancel my Northglenn RV trip?

Booking feels low risk because RVezy, not individual hosts, sets the cancellation policy across the platform. There is a money-back grace period right after you book, so if your plans shift soon after confirmation you have room to back out without losing everything. Refund amounts after that grace window depend on how far out your trip is. If a host cancels on you, RVezy will help you rebook or provide a refund or travel credit. The full cancellation policy is published in the RVezy Help Center so you can review it anytime before clicking book. Lock in your Northglenn RV trip now and refine the itinerary later.

Can I bring my dog on a Northglenn RV rental?

Absolutely, and Colorado is one of the most dog-loving states in the country. Many hosts offer pet-friendly RV rental in Northglenn; just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy to see them instantly. Once you're rolling, dogs are welcome at Cherry Creek State Park, Chatfield State Park, and Standley Lake Regional Park (all under 30 minutes from Northglenn) as long as they're leashed to six feet. Rocky Mountain National Park is stricter, dogs aren't allowed on trails, but they're welcome in campgrounds and pullouts. Pro tip: the Westminster Hills Off-Leash Dog Park, about 10 minutes from Northglenn, is a 420-acre pre-trip stretch spot your pup will love before the road trip begins.

Can the RV be delivered to me in Northglenn?

Yes, RV delivery in Northglenn is one of the most popular options, and it's a game-changer if you're a first-timer or flying into Denver International Airport (DEN). Many RVezy hosts will drive the rig straight to your home, hotel, DEN airport pickup point, or directly to your campsite at Cherry Creek State Park or St. Vrain State Park, then handle the full setup, leveling, hookups, and walkthrough. Just use the Delivery filter when searching, and you'll see hosts who service the I-25 corridor from Thornton to Westminster. Delivery fees vary by distance but typically run $2 to $4 per mile. The result: you skip the stress of driving a big rig out of the city and start your trip relaxed.

For something more resort-style, Jellystone Park at Larkspur (about an hour south) packs pools, mini golf, and family programming. Book Colorado state parks at cpw.state.co.us up to six months ahead, summer weekends sell out fast.

When is the best time of year to rent an RV in Northglenn?

Late May through early October is prime time, when Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park is open and high-country temperatures sit between the 50s and 70s. Northglenn itself warms to highs around 85 to 88°F in July, with cool 55 to 62°F nights, ideal for outdoor cooking and stargazing. September is the local insider's pick: aspens turn gold, crowds thin, and daytime highs hover in the 70s. Spring (April to early May) and fall (October) bring cheap RV rental in Northglenn pricing but watch for spring snow squalls along the Front Range. Winters are cold (lows in the low 20s°F) but four-season RVs make ski trips to Winter Park totally doable.

I've never driven an RV before, will I be okay?

You'll be more than okay, and you're in great company. Most people renting an RV in Northglenn are first-timers, and RVezy hosts make it easy. Every booking starts with an in-person orientation where your host walks you through driving tips, slide-outs, the generator, water systems, and dump procedures, no question is too basic. You can also message hosts before booking to ask about handling and which rigs are best for beginners. For your first-time renting an RV trip, consider a smaller Class C motorhome or campervan rental Northglenn style; both drive much like a large van. Pro tip: do your shakedown trip at Cherry Creek State Park (just 20 miles away) before heading into the mountains.
codot.gov/safety

What happens if something breaks down during my trip?

You are covered. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance, so whether you have a flat tire on I-70 near the Eisenhower Tunnel, a dead battery at Estes Park, or a propane issue at your campsite, help is one phone call away. Your host is also typically a quick text or call away with practical advice since they know their rig best. For anything else, RVezy customer support is available before, during, and after your trip through the Help Center. Pro tip: record a short video walkthrough during your orientation so you have a reference for every switch and valve, it solves most small issues in minutes.

What are the best road trips from Northglenn?

Northglenn is a fantastic launch pad for an RV road trip. Top routes include Rocky Mountain National Park (about 65 miles via US-36 through Boulder and Lyons), Great Sand Dunes National Park (about 235 miles south), Glenwood Springs and its hot springs (about 165 miles west on I-70), Mesa Verde National Park (about 390 miles southwest, a great multi-night loop), and the Grand Lake and Granby area on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park (about 110 miles). Heading into Wyoming is also popular, Cheyenne is just 100 miles north on I-25. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals. Always confirm cross-border or out-of-state travel with your host before booking.

What kind of fuel mileage and gas costs should I budget for?

Plan smart and you'll avoid sticker shock. Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 miles per gallon (MPG), Class A rigs sit at 6 to 10 MPG, campervans hit 16 to 20 MPG, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (figure 10 to 14 MPG combined). Colorado gas prices typically run a bit above the national average; near Northglenn, you'll find competitive fuel at Costco off 104th Avenue and Sam's Club on Grant Street. For a 500-mile round trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and back in a Class C, budget roughly $175 to $225 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up before climbing into the mountains, prices spike in towns like Estes Park and Grand Lake.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

How far in advance should I book a campground near Northglenn?

Sooner is better, especially for summer. Colorado Parks and Wildlife opens state park reservations exactly six months ahead at cpw.state.co.us, and prime spots at Cherry Creek, Chatfield, and St. Vrain State Parks for July and August weekends often sell out the minute the window opens at midnight Mountain Time. Rocky Mountain National Park campgrounds (Moraine Park, Glacier Basin, Aspenglen) also open six months out via recreation.gov, and book up just as fast. For shoulder-season or weekday trips, two to four weeks ahead is usually fine. Pro tip: if you strike out on a Saturday night, grab a Sunday-through-Thursday booking, midweek camping is more peaceful, and many parks discount weekday rates.
cpw.state.co.us/camping

What are driving conditions like around Northglenn?

Northglenn driving is friendlier than most metros once you know the rhythm. Sitting at 5,361 feet elevation along I-25, you're 15 minutes north of downtown Denver with quick access to E-470, US-36 (to Boulder), and I-76. Avoid I-25 southbound between 7 to 9 a.m. and northbound 4 to 6 p.m. on weekdays; that's classic Front Range rush hour. When you head west on I-70 into the mountains, expect steep grades, switchbacks, and the Eisenhower Tunnel at 11,158 feet, downshift on descents to protect your brakes. Summer afternoon thunderstorms roll in fast, so aim to be off mountain passes by 2 p.m. Always check codot.gov before climbing.
codot.gov/travel/colorado-road-conditions

What amenities do campgrounds near Northglenn typically have?

You'll find a strong mix. Colorado state parks like Cherry Creek and Chatfield offer 30/50-amp electric, potable water fills, dump stations, flush toilets, hot showers, and pull-through sites that handle big rigs. Private parks such as Dakota Ridge RV Park in Golden and Denver Meadows offer full hookups (water, sewer, electric) plus WiFi and laundry. Rocky Mountain National Park campgrounds are more rustic, no hookups, generator hours only, but they have dump stations and potable fill. For free dump stations close to Northglenn, head to Flying J at Tower Road or Cherry Creek State Park's day-use dump. Pro tip: top off fresh water before heading west; mountain campground spigots sometimes shut off after September.

Most include propane stovetops, microwaves, air conditioning, furnaces, fresh, grey and black water tanks, generators, and entertainment systems. You can customize your Northglenn RV trip with popular host add-ons: camp chairs and tables ($15 to $30), bedding and linen packages ($25 to $50), kitchen kits ($25), generators (sometimes included, sometimes $10 to $20 per night), bike racks, e-bikes, and even kayaks. Pickup typically happens at the host's home in the Northglenn/Thornton/Westminster area, with delivery available for an extra fee. Standard pickup is mid-afternoon and dropoff is late morning, mirroring hotel-style turnover. Mileage policies vary, so read the listing carefully. How do payment and the security deposit work?

Payment on RVezy is simple and secure, you pay through the platform with a credit or debit card when you book, with no cash handoffs or off-platform payments. A refundable security deposit is held separately from your booking payment, typically in the $500 to $1,500 range depending on the RV, and released after your host confirms the rig is returned in the same condition. To get it back quickly, snap photos at pickup and dropoff, return with the same fuel and propane levels, and follow the dump and cleaning instructions. Any extras like additional miles or cleaning fees are handled transparently through the platform. Pro tip: do a short walkaround video with your host at pickup to avoid disputes later.

Can I take my Northglenn RV rental into the mountains in winter?

Yes, winter RV trips from Northglenn are absolutely doable and pretty magical. Many RVezy hosts list four-season rigs equipped with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, propane furnaces, and shore-power capability, perfect for ski trips to Winter Park (67 miles), Loveland (53 miles), or Keystone (75 miles). Filter by RVs with heated tanks and ask the host directly about winterization. You'll want a campground with electric hookups (Tiger Run RV Resort in Breckenridge stays open year-round) so your furnace can run all night. Pro tip: travel mid-morning to mid-afternoon when I-70 is plowed and dry, carry tire chains (legally required on some passes), and check codot.gov before every drive. A snowy RV weekend beats a Vail hotel any day.
