2010 Adventurer Manufacturing Class C
Iryna was a great host and her motorhome was well equipped for our trip. The RV was very clean on arrival and everything worked as it should during our 12 day trip from Calgary to Wisconsin. It was especially important to have a powerful air conditioner as it was very hot in the Dakota's and Montana during our drive. Iryna's motorhome is a smaller Class-C model at 22 feet which is exactly what we wanted for maneuverability and fuel economy, and still had plenty of sleeping space, storage, and a very large bathroom and shower. It also had a larger fridge and freezer than we were used to in an RV. Our fuel consumption calculated for our 4800 kilometre trip was 20.7 l /100 kms which is exceptional in this class. Iryna is a great host and we would highly recommend her and this RV!

What is the cancellation policy if my Kasson RV trip plans change?

Booking is low-risk: RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy to every reservation, and the specific terms for your trip are shown on the booking page before you confirm. I am renting an RV for the first time. How does the pickup and orientation work in Kasson?

First time renting an RV in Kasson? You will be in great hands. Every RVezy host in the Kasson area provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup (or at delivery), showing you how to operate the generator, slide-outs, water systems, propane, awning, and dump valves. Most orientations take 30 to 60 minutes, and you are encouraged to record video on your phone for reference. Hosts also stay reachable by message throughout your trip, so if you forget how to switch from shore power to battery at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park, help is a text away. Pro tip: pick a smaller Class C motorhome or travel trailer for your first rental, they handle a lot like a large SUV on Minnesota's gentle rolling highways.

What kind of fuel economy and gas budget should I plan for?

Budgeting fuel for your Kasson RV trip is easy once you know the numbers. Class C motorhomes typically get 8 to 12 miles per gallon on Minnesota highways, Class A motorhomes about 6 to 10 mpg, campervans 14 to 20 mpg, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (often 10 to 14 mpg while towing). Regular unleaded around Dodge and Olmsted counties tracks close to the Midwest average, with diesel usually higher; the Kwik Trip on Highway 14 in Kasson is a reliable, big-rig-friendly fill-up. For a typical 400-mile weekend in a Class C, plan roughly $130 to $180 in fuel at current pump prices. Pro tip: drive 60 to 62 mph on I-90, you will gain 1 to 2 mpg over higher highway speeds.

Private parks such as the Rochester/Marion KOA and Autumn Woods RV Park accept bookings further out and tend to have more last-minute availability mid-week. For holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), aim to reserve at least 3 to 4 months in advance. Pro tip: set a calendar alert exactly 120 days before your desired arrival date and book the moment the window opens.
