This easy 2.7-mile loop climbs 425 feet to ridge-top ocean vistas overlooking the Pacific and Santa Monica Mountains. The hike typically takes 1.5 hours and can be extended to 3.5 miles for additional views.
A challenging strenuous hike covering 2.9 miles with 1,250 feet of elevation gain, rewarding hikers with panoramic views of the Pacific and surrounding mountains. This trail gains elevation steeply from start to finish.
This scenic moderate hike winds through a wooded canyon and follows Big Sycamore Canyon Creek beginning near Sycamore Canyon Campground. The shaded environment provides relief from coastal heat during warmer months.
Thornhill Broome Campground sits directly on sandy beach, offering opportunities for swimming, body surfing, wading, and beach walking. Beach access is convenient for RV campers staying at the grounds.
