How to get to Point Mugu State Park

Point Mugu State Park is located approximately 15 miles south of Oxnard on Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) and about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the nearest major airport, approximately 50 miles south, about 1 hour drive. Important RV restrictions: vehicles and trailers combined must not exceed 31 feet in length, and trailer height must not exceed 13 feet 6 inches; oversized rigs will be denied entry without refund. Thornhill Broome Campground is subject to seasonal closure or restrictions due to storm surge and high tides, particularly November through April. Book reservations through Reserve California (1-800-444-7275) well in advance, especially for peak season.
