The lake drives most activity. Lac Ste. Anne supports swimming, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing, with public beaches and a boat launch at Alberta Beach. Wabamun Lake Provincial Park has a large sandy beach, a designated swim area and boat ramps, and is popular for water-skiing, fishing, sailing, kayaking and birdwatching, plus trails for hiking and biking. Spring Lake has a sand-bottom, spring-fed swimming area and a fishing dock at Spring Lake RV Resort. Alberta Beach Golf Resort RV Park sits next to a golf course, and the village hosts farmers markets and summer events. The Lac Ste. Most lakefront private parks near Alberta Beach offer full-service RV sites with 30 or 50 amp power, water and sewer, plus fire pits, picnic tables, washrooms with showers, laundry and a small store. Spring Lake RV Resort is RV-only and does not permit tents on sites, including children's play tents.
