Campgrounds and RV parks near Okanagan-Similkameen E, BC

Okanagan-Similkameen E sits in the southern interior of British Columbia, on the west side of Okanagan Lake between Penticton and Kelowna. The area is anchored by Summerland and stretches into orchard country, vineyard benches, and the semi-arid hills that give the south Okanagan its warm, sunny reputation. RV travellers use this corridor as a base for lake days, wine touring, and access to Skaha Lake, Okanagan Lake, and the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. Campground options range from municipal family parks to private lakefront RV resorts. Peach Orchard Campground is a District of Summerland facility a short walk from Okanagan Lake, with water and power hookups on most sites, coin showers, and a convenience store. Oxbow RV Resort and South Beach Gardens Tent and RV Park sit closer to the Penticton channel and Skaha Lake, while Wright's Beach Camp is directly on Skaha Lake at the south entrance to Penticton. For travellers wanting something quieter and further from the lake, Wildhorse Mountain Ranch BandB offers a rural alternative in the hills behind the valley.

Provincial park sites in the surrounding area, including Okanagan Lake Provincial Park north of Summerland and Stemwinder and Bromley Rock in the Similkameen, are booked through the BC Parks reservation service. BC Parks uses a three-month rolling window, meaning arrival dates open for reservation exactly three months in advance at 7 a.m. Pacific time. Statutory holiday weekends typically require a minimum three-night stay. Municipal and private campgrounds handle their own bookings. Peach Orchard Campground reserves through the District of Summerland, and Wright's Beach Camp, Oxbow RV Resort, and South Beach Gardens Tent and RV Park take direct reservations through their own websites, often opening for the coming summer during the previous winter. Waterfront and full-hookup sites at these private parks tend to sell out first.
