Campgrounds and RV parks near Greenwich, NB

Greenwich sits in Kings County, New Brunswick, near the Kingston Peninsula and the lower Saint John River system, a short drive from the city of Saint John. The surrounding area is defined by river frontage, free cable ferry crossings, rolling farmland, and mixed Acadian forest, which makes it a practical base for RV travellers exploring the Fundy coast, the Kennebecasis Valley, and the historic river route toward Fredericton. Most campgrounds in the area are privately operated seasonal parks oriented toward river recreation. Oak Point Kiwanis Park and Hardings Point Campground Inc sit close to the Saint John River, while Hidden Valley Campground, Coy Lake Camping RV Park Ltd, and Mohawk Camping offer inland options with lake or wooded settings. Because Greenwich is not itself a service town, RV renters typically stock up in Hampton, Rothesay, or Saint John before arriving. Fuel, groceries, propane, and dump stations are easiest to find along Route 1 and the Route 7 corridor rather than on the peninsula roads themselves.

Private parks in the Greenwich area handle their own reservations directly by phone, email, or their own websites, including Oak Point Kiwanis Park, Hardings Point Campground Inc, Hidden Valley Campground, Coy Lake Camping RV Park Ltd, and Mohawk Camping. There is no central provincial booking portal for private campgrounds in New Brunswick, so plans usually mean contacting each park in turn. Deposits are commonly required to hold a serviced site, and long-weekend stays often carry a two or three night minimum. For comparison, New Brunswick provincial parks such as Mactaquac use the NB Parks reservation system, which typically opens nightly bookings in early February, while Parks Canada sites like Fundy National Park open in mid-January through the Parks Canada Reservation Service. RV renters should confirm site length, hookup type, and whether the park allows arrival of a rental unit with insurance documents on file.
