Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint Patrick, NB

Saint Patrick is a small rural parish in Charlotte County, New Brunswick, on the north shore of Passamaquoddy Bay near the Maine border. It sits within easy reach of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, St. Stephen, and the Fundy Isles, making it a practical base for RV renters exploring the southwestern corner of the province. The closest campgrounds cluster along Route 127 and the Passamaquoddy Bay shoreline. Island View Camping and Kiwanis Passamaquoddy Park offer full and partial hookup sites within a short drive, while Oak Bay Campground provides riverside sites north toward St. Stephen. Hilltop Campground rounds out the mainland options, and Deer Island Point Park sits across the water on Deer Island, reached by a free provincial ferry from Letete. Most sites in the area are seasonal and family-oriented, with tent spots, electric-only pads, and full-hookup pull-throughs suited to travel trailers and motorhomes. The bay location keeps summer temperatures moderate and gives renters direct access to whale-watching, tidal beaches, and coastal drives.

Private campgrounds in the Saint Patrick area handle reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Island View Camping, Kiwanis Passamaquoddy Park, Oak Bay Campground, and Hilltop Campground each take bookings independently, so renters should confirm site type, rig length, and hookup level before arrival. The Kiwanis Passamaquoddy Park phone line is generally not monitored outside the operating season. Deer Island Point Park is operated locally and works differently. Specific sites cannot be reserved in advance, the park is not equipped to handle debit or credit cards and only accepts cash or travelers cheques, and once payment is received for a night there are no refunds barring emergencies. For summer weekends and long weekends, book six to eight weeks out. Provincial and national park campgrounds elsewhere in New Brunswick use Parks Canada or provincial reservation systems, which open earlier in the year.
