Campgrounds and RV parks near Welland - Pelham, ON

Welland and Pelham sit in the centre of the Niagara Peninsula, roughly a 20 to 30 minute drive from Niagara Falls and close to Lake Erie, the Welland Canal, and the wine country of the Twenty Valley. The area works well as an RV base: campgrounds are clustered along the Lundy's Lane corridor in Niagara Falls, with additional private parks spread through the surrounding farmland and lakeshore. Most RV visitors stay at large private resorts rather than provincial parks, because the closest provincial park, Short Hills, is a non-operating park with no camping. Campark Resorts, Niagara Falls ON KOA Holiday, Scotts Family RV Park and Campground, and Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Niagara Falls all sit within a short stretch of Lundy's Lane, while NET Camping Resort offers another option in the broader region. Expect full-service resorts with pools, playgrounds, and shuttle or transit access to the Falls, rather than backcountry-style camping.

Private resorts in the Niagara Falls area take bookings directly through their own websites or by phone. Campark Resorts, Niagara Falls ON KOA Holiday, Scotts Family RV Park and Campground, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Niagara Falls, and NET Camping Resort each operate their own reservation systems, and summer weekends often sell out well in advance. Guests should confirm any age, group, or check-in rules with the operator at booking. Ontario Parks handles reservations for provincial parks through the Ontario Parks reservation service or 1-888-ONT-PARK. The booking window opens at 7:00 a.m. ET, five months before the arrival date. Short Hills is a non-operating, day-use park, so no overnight reservation is needed to visit.
