Campgrounds and RV parks near Fritz Creek, AK

Fritz Creek is a small community on East End Road, about 12 miles northeast of Homer on the Kenai Peninsula. Most RV travelers use it as a quiet base above Kachemak Bay, with the full services of Homer, a fuel stop, groceries, and dump stations a short drive down the hill. Homer sits on the shore of Kachemak Bay on the southwest side of the Kenai Peninsula, and its distinguishing feature is the Homer Spit, a narrow 4.5-mile gravel bar that extends into the bay. RV options concentrate along the Sterling Highway and out on the Spit. Heritage RV Park is on the Spit itself, near the small boat harbor and fishing lagoon. Driftwood Inn & RV Park sits on the bluff in downtown Homer above Bishop's Beach. Ocean Shores RV Park is closer to town on the Sterling Highway approach.
