Campgrounds and RV parks near Keiser, AR

Keiser is a small city in Mississippi County in the Arkansas Delta, sitting along State Highway 181 in flat farm country north of Memphis. The town itself has no campground, so RV travelers use the ring of parks and private RV parks that surround the Mississippi River corridor on both the Arkansas and Tennessee sides. Most trip planners treat Memphis as the anchor for services, groceries, and attractions. The closest full-hookup option is Willow RV Park in nearby Blytheville, a no-frills park geared toward long-term guests and overnight travelers off I-55. For a true state-park experience, Fort Pillow State Park sits across the river in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, on the Chickasaw Bluffs above the Mississippi. Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park anchors the south end of the region just north of Memphis and offers the largest wooded RV campground in the area. Closer to the city center, Memphis KOA Journey and Cook's Lake RV Resort and Campground provide urban-adjacent bases with full hookups, laundry, and easy access to Memphis attractions.

Tennessee State Parks, including Fort Pillow and Meeman-Shelby Forest, use a single online reservation system at tnstateparks.com. Sites can be booked up to one year in advance, with a non-refundable five-dollar advanced reservation fee per campsite. Cancellations up to two days before arrival receive a refund of campground fees minus the reservation fee, while cancellations one day out forfeit the first night's fees. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights, extended to 28 nights from December 1 through the end of February. After the maximum stay, the camping party must vacate the park for three consecutive nights before returning. Private parks such as Willow RV Park, Memphis KOA Journey, and Cook's Lake RV Resort and Campground book directly through their own websites or by phone, and most operate year-round.
