Campgrounds and RV parks near Mineral Springs, AR

Mineral Springs sits in southwest Arkansas, within easy reach of two major state parks and several private RV options. The closest concentration of camping is around Millwood Lake to the south and the Little Missouri River valley to the northeast, near Murfreesboro. Both areas are set up for RV travellers, with paved access roads and full-hookup sites at the larger parks. Millwood Landing Golf and RV Resort and Millwood State Park anchor the lake side of the region, offering shoreline access, boat ramps, and family amenities. To the north, Crater of Diamonds State Park draws visitors to Arkansas's only public diamond mine, with a 47-site campground set among tall pine trees, where visitors pay a daily fee to search a 37-acre plowed field for genuine diamonds and gemstones. Murfeesboro RV Park and Miners Camping and Rock Shop round out the local supply of smaller, independently run options. Most campgrounds in the area operate year-round, though marina services, water parks, and seasonal amenities scale back in the colder months.

Sites at Millwood State Park and Crater of Diamonds State Park are managed through the Arkansas State Parks reservation system, available online or by phone. Arkansas state parks open camping reservations 365 days in advance, so a campsite for July 15 would become available on July 15 of the prior year. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Stays are capped at fourteen nights during a thirty-day period, with seven-day extensions beyond that limit available at the discretion of the park superintendent. Weekend reservations require a minimum of two nights, and holiday weekends require three nights. Private parks including Millwood Landing Golf and RV Resort, Murfeesboro RV Park, and Miners Camping and Rock Shop are booked directly with each operator. For holiday weekends and peak spring and summer dates, reserve as far in advance as possible.
