Campgrounds and RV parks near Bradenton Beach, FL

Bradenton Beach sits on the southern end of Anna Maria Island, a barrier island on Florida's Gulf Coast separated from the mainland by Sarasota Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. The island itself has no dedicated RV parks, so travelers base on the mainland in nearby Cortez and West Bradenton and cross the Cortez Road or Manatee Avenue bridges to reach the beach. The closest options cluster within a few miles of the Cortez bridge. Buttonwood Inlet RV Resort sits just east of that drawbridge in Cortez, with Holiday Cove RV Resort and Sarasota Bay RV Park positioned along the same Cortez Road corridor. Vista Del Lago MH & RV Resort lies farther inland for travelers willing to trade beach proximity for a quieter, lake-oriented setting. Properties in this corridor range from family-friendly resorts to quieter, adult-oriented parks geared to snowbird stays, with shorter nightly and weekly bookings often available outside peak winter months. State park camping is not available on Anna Maria Island itself; the nearest state-park sites are inland along the Manatee and Little Manatee rivers.

Private resorts in the Cortez and West Bradenton corridor are booked directly through each property's website or office, not through a central portal. Buttonwood Inlet RV Resort, Holiday Cove RV Resort, Sarasota Bay RV Park, and Vista Del Lago MH & RV Resort each manage their own availability, deposits, and length-of-stay rules. Some lean toward adult or 55-plus communities, so renters should confirm age policies, pet rules, and rig-length limits before reserving. For winter stays, reservations are commonly placed many months in advance, and several resorts give priority to returning monthly guests. Nearby Florida State Parks, including Lake Manatee and Little Manatee River, accept reservations through reserve.floridastateparks.org up to eleven months ahead for Florida residents and ten months ahead for non-residents, with popular sites often filling the day they open.
