Campgrounds and RV parks near Maynard, MA

Maynard sits in eastern Massachusetts along the Assabet River, about 25 miles northwest of Boston and near the Minute Man National Historical Park corridor that stretches through Concord and Lexington. RV travelers use the town as a base for exploring Revolutionary War sites, Walden Pond, and the Nashoba Valley orchards, with easy highway access via Routes 2, 117, and I-495. Campground options in the area range from full-hookup private parks to state forest sites. Spacious Skies Minute Man in Littleton is the closest full-service RV park, and Berry's Grove Campground offers lakeside RV sites on Lake Mascuppic in Tyngsborough near the New Hampshire border. Circle CG Farm Campground in Bellingham sits south of Maynard for travelers heading toward Providence. For more rustic, wooded state-park camping, Pearl Hill State Park lies to the northwest near West Townsend, and Field and Stream RV Park across the state line in Brookline, New Hampshire, is another common pick for travelers combining Boston-area sightseeing with southern New Hampshire.

Massachusetts state-park sites, including Pearl Hill State Park, are booked through the DCR's ReserveAmerica portal at massdcrcamping.reserveamerica.com. Reservations can be made up to four months prior to the arrival date, walk-in camping is not permitted, and same-day reservations are accepted online until 2 p.m. A non-refundable transaction fee applies to each booking. Private campgrounds handle their own reservations. Spacious Skies Minute Man and Circle CG Farm Campground take bookings directly through their websites or by phone, and Berry's Grove Campground books through its Happy Grounds parent site. For summer weekends and any stay tied to a holiday, reserve as early as possible; full-hookup sites go first. Massachusetts prohibits transporting firewood into or out of DCR campgrounds, so plan to buy wood on site.
