Campgrounds and RV parks near Pavilion, NY

Pavilion is a small town in Genesee County in Western New York, positioned between Rochester and Buffalo and within easy reach of the Genesee Valley. The area sits at the northern edge of the Finger Lakes region and serves as a practical base for RV travelers heading to Letchworth State Park, Darien Lake, and Niagara Falls. Campgrounds within a short drive range from family-focused RV resorts to a large state park. Le-Ti Campground, just north in Batavia, is a long-running family resort with full-hookup 50-amp pull-through sites suited to any size RV. The Ridge NY, Timberline Lake Park Camping, Adventure Bound Southwoods, and Southwoods RV Resort round out the closest private options. For a state park experience, Letchworth State Park offers 270 electric sites across eight loops south of Pavilion. Most of the private campgrounds in this corner of Genesee County lean heavily seasonal, so short-term travelers should book weekend and holiday nights well in advance.

Letchworth State Park uses the New York State Parks reservation system operated by ReserveAmerica. Sites can be booked online or by phone up to nine months ahead, and reservations are strongly recommended for summer weekends. Same-day reservations are cut off at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and a two-night minimum applies on weekends. Private parks handle bookings directly. Le-Ti Campground, Adventure Bound Southwoods, Southwoods RV Resort, The Ridge NY, and Timberline Lake Park Camping each take reservations by phone or through their own websites. Because several of these parks are heavily seasonal with a large share of long-term sites, the pool of nightly and weekly openings is smaller than the total site count suggests. Book holiday weekends and July or August stays as early as possible.
