Campgrounds and RV parks near Hill City, SD

Hill City sits in the heart of the Black Hills of western South Dakota, roughly ten to fifteen miles from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park. The town is a practical base for RV travelers because major attractions, the Mickelson Trail, and several full-hookup resorts are all within a short drive. Private campgrounds cluster along US Highway 385 and Spring Creek just outside town. Black Hills Trailside Park Resort sits at the edge of Hill City with direct access to the Mickelson Trail.
