Devils Tower National Monument is the marquee draw. Visitors can walk the loop trail around the base of the tower, stop at the interpretive center, and view the resident prairie dog town. Keyhole Reservoir supports boating, kayaking, swimming, and fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, catfish, and northern pike. Belle Fourche River Campground at Devils Tower is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October and does not take reservations, so early arrival is important during summer months when the campground can fill. Keyhole State Park is open to camping year-round, with reservations required for all campgrounds except Wind Creek from May 1 through September 30.
