Green Valley sits in Pennington County just southeast of Rapid City, placing RV travelers within a short drive of the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Badlands National Park, and Custer State Park's roughly 71,000 acres of rolling hills, forests, and plains. The area functions as a base camp for exploring western South Dakota, with quick highway access via I-90 and US-16.
