Campgrounds and RV parks near Bryan, TX

Bryan sits in the Brazos Valley of east-central Texas, immediately north of College Station and Texas A&M University. The area is flat to gently rolling, with post-oak woodlands, working ranches, and reservoirs a short drive from the city. RV travelers use Bryan as a base for Aggie football weekends, family visits to campus, and lake recreation at Lake Bryan and Lake Somerville. Most camping options within roughly 15 miles of downtown are private, full-hookup RV parks rather than public campgrounds. BCs Village 21 RV Park, Aggieland RV Park, Teserra RV Park, Hardy's Resort RV Park, and Timber Ridge RV Park serve travelers who want paved pads, sewer connections, and quick access to Highway 6, University Drive, and Kyle Field. For state-park camping with lake access, Lake Somerville State Park lies southwest of Bryan and is operated by Texas Parks and Wildlife. It offers a different experience, with hookup sites in developed loops, primitive walk-in sites along the trailway, and equestrian camping.

Private RV parks in Bryan, including BCs Village 21 RV Park, Aggieland RV Park, Teserra RV Park, Hardy's Resort RV Park, and Timber Ridge RV Park, take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. For any Texas A&M home football weekend, secure a site as soon as the schedule is released, since parks in the immediate College Station area fill months out. For Lake Somerville State Park's Birch Creek and Nails Creek units, reservations go through the Texas State Parks system online or by phone with the customer service center. Sites can be reserved up to five months in advance, and day passes are recommended in addition to camping to guarantee gate entry during busy weekends.
