Campgrounds and RV parks near Inez, TX

Inez sits in Victoria County along US Highway 59, about seven miles east of Victoria and roughly thirty miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico. The town works well as a quiet base for RV travelers heading to the Coastal Bend, Matagorda Bay, or the historic sites around Goliad, with paved highway access in every direction and a compact cluster of full-hookup parks within a short drive. Most private RV parks in the area cater to a mix of overnight travelers, snowbirds, and long-term guests connected to the local energy and petrochemical industries. Twin Lakes RV Park is the closest option to Inez itself, while Gateway to the Gulf RV Park at Victoria-Port Lavaca, RV Park of Victoria, Frontier RV Park, and QRV Victoria all sit within easy driving distance in and around the Victoria city limits. For public camping, Coleto Creek Park lies between Victoria and Goliad on US Highway 59 with reservoir-side sites, and Goliad State Park sits about thirty miles southwest along the San Antonio River.

Public campsites at Goliad State Park are reserved through the Texas Parks and Wildlife reservation system and can be booked up to five months in advance. The park frequently reaches capacity in the cooler months, and no-shows are cancelled if guests do not check in by noon of the day after the scheduled arrival date, so it is worth calling ahead if arrival will be delayed. Coleto Creek Park is managed by the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority, with reservations taken online or by phone. Cabins and pavilions can be reserved up to twelve months in advance, and weekend and holiday minimum stays apply during peak periods. Private parks such as Twin Lakes RV Park, Gateway to the Gulf RV Park at Victoria-Port Lavaca, RV Park of Victoria, Frontier RV Park, and QRV Victoria generally take direct phone or online reservations, with longer minimum stays common for monthly guests.
