Lake Camelot sits in Rome Township in the northwestern corner of Adams County, Central Wisconsin. It is the largest of the Tri-Lakes at about 445 acres, with a maximum depth of 24 feet and an average depth of 9 feet, fed by Fourteen Mile Creek and connected by a dam to Lake Sherwood and Lake Arrowhead. The setting is sand-bottom lakes, oak-pine forest, and a network of county parks and public accesses, making it a practical base for RV travelers exploring the Wisconsin River flowage system. Lakeside Fire Campground rounds out the private options nearby. For public land, Roche-A-Cri State Park is the nearest state property. Established in 1948, the park protects a 300-foot-high rock outcropping with a wooden stairway to the summit, along with Native American petroglyphs and pictographs.

Reservation channels vary by property type. State-park sites at Roche-A-Cri are booked through the Wisconsin DNR reservation system, either online or by phone. The family campground features four electric sites, two walk-in tent sites, one tent-only campsite, and 33 campsites that accommodate both trailers and tents. A handful of sites are held as first-come, first-served. Private parks book direct. Pineland Camping Park takes reservations by phone at 608-564-7818 or online through its Reserve Now booking page. All Pineland reservations require a two-night minimum stay, or three nights on holiday weekends, and one camper must be 21 or older to place the reservation and check in. Homegrounds RV Park, Cozy Inn Motel and RV Park, and Lakeside Fire Campground are booked directly through each operator. Adams County parks and public accesses in Rome, including sites on Camelot and Big Roche-A-Cri, require a vehicle sticker, which is included with camping fees.
