2026 Grand Design Travel Trailer
This was an entirely new experience for us and we could not be happier with the service and the beautiful travel trailer. Cheryl communicated beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect. They set it up quickly and explained everything these old first timers needed to know to enjoy our time. The trailer is spacious, comfortable and immaculate, it is well equipped with everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. We spent each evening in the heated massaging recliner chairs to relax before crawling into the comfortable bed. The three couples we were with were envious of how nice our unit was. We may be ‘fighting’ with two of those couples to see who gets it next time. I would rate our experience a 10. Would recommend Chrryl without any hesitation

The RV was in good condition and clean. I was pleased with the owners attitude and would be willing to rent from him again for that area of the country. I returned the RV early due to weather conditions, not directly relating to any problems with the RV. I did discuss with the owner some minor issues that I'm sure he will look into before future rentals.

Trailer was exactly as described and worked well for our situation. Delivery person was awesome and answered our questions during initial setup. Delivery and pickup service was great especially since we have little experience pulling a trailer through hilly terrain.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Bella Vista, AR

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Bella Vista, AR?

RV rental in Bella Vista is affordable compared to larger metros. Travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, while Class C motorhomes generally range from $175 to $275 per night. Because most hosts are local Northwest Arkansas owners, pricing tends to stay below what you would pay in Dallas or Kansas City. To find a cheap RV rental Bella Vista travelers love, book midweek, target shoulder months like March, April, or October, and use the price filter when browsing listings. A weeklong booking often unlocks a host-set weekly discount, making a Beaver Lake getaway easier on the wallet.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Bella Vista?

A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Bella Vista. Arkansas does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or any special motorhome endorsement for personal RVs, even larger Class A coaches. To book on RVezy, you must be at least 25 years old and meet the approved driver requirements, and your ID is verified securely through the platform during checkout. Visiting from overseas for a Northwest Arkansas RV trip? Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with your home country license. No road test or extra paperwork is needed, just pick up and explore the Ozarks.

What happens if I need to cancel my Bella Vista RV rental?

You are not locked in. RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy to every booking, including a grace period right after you book during which you can cancel for a full refund. After that, your refund amount depends on how far out your trip is. The cancellation policy is set by RVezy, not the individual host, so you get consistent treatment whether you book a campervan in Bella Vista or a fifth wheel in nearby Bentonville. If a host cancels, you are refunded or offered travel credit. Full details live in the Help Center, and support is available before, during, and after your trip.

Can I bring my dog on a Bella Vista RV trip?

Yes, pet-friendly RV rental Bella Vista options are easy to find. Toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy and you will see local hosts who welcome four-legged co-pilots. Many charge a small pet fee, which the listing spells out clearly. Once you are on the road, Bella Vista is a dog lover's paradise: Tanyard Creek Nature Trail has a creek-side loop dogs adore, Blowing Springs Park allows leashed pets throughout the campground, and the Back 40 trail system is open to leashed dogs. Pack a collapsible water bowl, since Ozark summers get muggy and your pup will need water more often than you expect.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Bella Vista?

Yes, RV delivery is one of the most popular options in Bella Vista, and it is a game-changer if you have never towed before. Many local hosts will drive the RV directly to Blowing Springs Park, Prairie Creek Campground on Beaver Lake, or even a private driveway, then level it, hook up water and electric, and walk you through every system before they leave. Use the Delivery filter when searching, and message the host to confirm the destination and any mileage fee. For first-timers planning a Bella Vista RV trip, delivery turns the whole experience into a glamping-style vacation: show up, unpack groceries, and start your fire.

How far can I drive on a Bella Vista RV rental, and what about mileage limits?

You have plenty of range to explore. Hosts in Bella Vista set their own mileage policies, and you will see the daily mileage allowance (commonly 100 to 150 free miles per day) and any per-mile overage rate on each listing before you book. Some hosts offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is perfect for a longer Ozarks loop. From Bella Vista, you can reach Branson, MO in about 75 miles, Eureka Springs in 55 miles, Hot Springs National Park in about 230 miles, and Tulsa, OK in about 120 miles. For a big RV road trip from Bella Vista, filter for unlimited-mileage listings or buy a mileage package upfront, it is almost always cheaper than paying overages.

Where are the best campgrounds near Bella Vista to park my RV?

You're spoiled for choice when it comes to RV camping Bella Vista has within a short drive. Blowing Springs RV Park, right inside Bella Vista, offers 64 sites with full hookups and direct access to the Back 40 mountain bike trails. Prairie Creek Park on Beaver Lake (about 25 minutes south) is a Corps of Engineers favorite with shaded waterfront sites. Horseshoe Bend Park, also on Beaver Lake, is great for swimming and boating. Devil's Den State Park, an hour south, has spacious wooded sites and is one of Arkansas's most loved state parks. Pro tip: Blowing Springs takes reservations by phone at 479-855-8075, and they fill up fast for fall color weekends.

When is the best time to take an RV trip in Bella Vista?

The sweet spot for a Bella Vista RV trip is mid-April through early June and again from mid-September through early November. Spring delivers wildflowers, dogwoods, and daytime highs in the 70s, while fall lights up the Ozark hardwoods with red and gold foliage and crisp 60-degree afternoons, ideal for hiking the Back 40. Summers (June through August) are hot and humid with highs near 90F and frequent afternoon thunderstorms, but lake life on Beaver Lake makes up for it. Winter rentals are available too, with lows in the 20s and an occasional dusting of snow. Book a late-October trip for peak fall color and cooler nights perfect for campfires.

I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay renting in Bella Vista?

You will be just fine. First time renting an RV in Bella Vista is easier than you would think. Every RVezy host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup, showing you how to operate the generator, slide-outs, water systems, propane, and dump valves before you drive off. Northwest Arkansas roads are forgiving for beginners: I-49 has wide lanes and gentle grades, and the back roads around Beaver Lake have generous shoulders. If a Class A motorhome feels intimidating, start with a Class B campervan or a small Class C, both are easy to maneuver and park at Blowing Springs. Ask your host for their phone number so you can text them with questions mid-trip.

What if something breaks down during my Bella Vista RV trip?

You are never on your own. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, covering flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing, whether you are parked at Blowing Springs Park or pulled over on I-49. Just call the number provided in your booking confirmation and help is dispatched to your location. For RV-specific quirks like a finicky awning or a tripped breaker, message your host directly through the RVezy app, since they know their rig best and usually respond within minutes. Snap a quick photo of the breaker panel and water heater switch during your walkthrough, it will save a call later.

Can I take my Bella Vista RV rental across state lines or into Canada?

Yes, interstate travel is welcome and Bella Vista is a great launchpad. You are about 5 minutes from the Missouri border, 30 minutes from Oklahoma, and a half-day from Kansas, Texas, or Tennessee. Popular routes include Branson, MO (about 75 miles), the Mark Twain National Forest in southern Missouri, and Tulsa, OK (about 120 miles). Cross-border travel to Canada is allowed on some listings if you coordinate with the host before booking, since insurance documentation needs to be in order. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental due to insurance coverage limits. Message the host directly from the listing page to confirm your route, especially for multi-state RV road trips from Bella Vista.

How much should I budget for fuel on a Bella Vista RV trip?

Fuel is usually the biggest variable cost on a Bella Vista RV trip, so here is the realistic picture. A Class C motorhome averages 8 to 10 miles per gallon, a Class A around 6 to 8 MPG, and a Class B campervan rental Bella Vista travelers love gets 16 to 20 MPG. Arkansas gas prices typically run a bit below the national average, so a 300-mile round trip to Branson and back in a Class C runs roughly $90 to $120 in fuel based on current prices. There is a Murphy USA in Bentonville (about 10 minutes south) that is often the cheapest fill-up in the area, top off there before heading north.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Bella Vista?

For peak weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, and October leaf-peeping), book your campsite as soon as you book your RV, ideally 4 to 6 months ahead. Corps of Engineers parks on Beaver Lake like Prairie Creek and Horseshoe Bend release reservations 6 months in advance through Recreation.gov and sell out quickly. Arkansas State Parks, including Devil's Den, accept reservations up to 13 months out through ArkansasStateParks.com. Blowing Springs RV Park in Bella Vista is friendlier midweek but books up on fall weekends. If you strike out at Prairie Creek, try Dam Site or Rocky Branch on Beaver Lake, they are equally beautiful and often have last-minute openings.

What are driving conditions like around Bella Vista?

Driving an RV around Bella Vista is genuinely pleasant once you know the terrain. I-49 runs right past town with wide lanes, gentle grades, and frequent exits, perfect for big rigs. The Ozark hills mean a few winding roads (especially the Pig Trail Scenic Byway on Highway 23), so take it slow with a tall motorhome and use lower gears on descents. Watch for sudden afternoon thunderstorms in spring and early summer, and pull over if you see lightning or hail. Tornado season peaks April through June, so download a weather alert app before your trip. Avoid downtown Bentonville's narrow side streets during weekday rush hour; stick to Highway 71B or I-49 for a stress-free drive.

What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Bella Vista?

Northwest Arkansas campgrounds are well-equipped. Blowing Springs RV Park offers 30/50-amp electric, water, restrooms, hot showers, and laundry across its sites. Beaver Lake Corps of Engineers parks like Prairie Creek and Horseshoe Bend typically provide 30/50-amp electric and water hookups (sewer at select sites), plus a centralized dump station. Devil's Den State Park has hookups at select loops and a dump station near the entrance. Need to top off potable water mid-trip? Blowing Springs has a fill station, and most Corps parks include one near their dump pad. Keep a 25-foot drinking-water hose handy, since some Beaver Lake sites have spigots farther from the pad than you would expect.

What's included inside a typical Bella Vista RV rental?

Most motorhome rental Bella Vista listings come fully equipped so you can roll in and start cooking. Expect a queen or king bed, a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and basic cookware, a wet bath with toilet and shower, climate-controlled AC and furnace, and seatbelts for everyone traveling. Larger Class A and Class C models often add a generator, outdoor speakers, a TV with streaming, and a power awning. Wi-Fi varies, some hosts include a hotspot, others rely on the strong Verizon and AT&T coverage across Northwest Arkansas. Linens, towels, and kitchen starter kits are often available as add-ons. Check the listing's amenities list and message the host if you need a specific item like a coffee maker or high chair.

What add-ons and pickup options are available for a Bella Vista RV rental?

Most hosts offer a menu of useful add-ons to customize your trip: linen and towel packages, camp chairs and outdoor tables, bike racks, generators, propane fills, and pet cleaning fees. Delivery is the most popular extra in Bella Vista, with hosts typically charging a per-mile fee or a flat rate within a set radius. For pickup, you will usually meet the host at their home in Bella Vista, Bentonville, or Rogers for a 30 to 45-minute walkthrough. Mileage policies vary: many include 100 free miles per day, with overages around $0.35 to $0.50 per mile. Bundle delivery, setup, and a linen package, it often costs less than you would think and removes first-day stress.

How does payment and the security deposit work for a Bella Vista RV rental?

Payment is simple and secure. You pay through RVezy with a credit or debit card at the time of booking, and funds are held safely until after your trip starts before being released to the host. The security deposit is a separate authorization hold (not a charge) placed on your card before pickup, with the amount shown clearly on each listing. As long as you return the RV in the agreed condition with the correct fuel and tank levels, the hold is released after your trip. Take date-stamped photos and a short video walkaround at pickup and drop-off, it is the simplest way to keep your full deposit and avoid disputes.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-works

Where can I dump tanks and refill water near Bella Vista?

You have several convenient options near Bella Vista. Blowing Springs RV Park inside Bella Vista has a dump station and freshwater fill open to registered campers. Prairie Creek Park on Beaver Lake offers a dump station for registered campers and potable water near the entrance. Horseshoe Bend Park has a similar setup. Many Pilot and Love's truck stops along I-49 (the closest is in Bentonville, about 10 minutes south) offer RV dump services for a small fee. Dump before you head home rather than waiting, since the route back to your host is usually short and tanks are happier empty when you hand over the keys.
