This was an entirely new experience for us and we could not be happier with the service and the beautiful travel trailer. Cheryl communicated beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect. They set it up quickly and explained everything these old first timers needed to know to enjoy our time. The trailer is spacious, comfortable and immaculate, it is well equipped with everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. We spent each evening in the heated massaging recliner chairs to relax before crawling into the comfortable bed. The three couples we were with were envious of how nice our unit was. We may be ‘fighting’ with two of those couples to see who gets it next time. I would rate our experience a 10. Would recommend Chrryl without any hesitation

The RV was in good condition and clean. I was pleased with the owners attitude and would be willing to rent from him again for that area of the country. I returned the RV early due to weather conditions, not directly relating to any problems with the RV. I did discuss with the owner some minor issues that I'm sure he will look into before future rentals.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Springdale, AR

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Springdale, AR?

An RV rental in Springdale is one of the most affordable ways to explore Northwest Arkansas. On RVezy, motorhome rentals in the Springdale area typically range from about $150 to $250 per night, while travel trailers and fifth wheels often run closer to $90 to $150 per night. Many hosts offer weekly and monthly discounts, which makes a longer Springdale RV trip even more wallet-friendly. To find a cheap RV rental in Springdale, filter by price, book midweek, and consider shoulder months like March or October when nightly rates tend to dip. Tip: compare total trip cost (nightly rate, mileage, generator hours, and delivery) rather than just the headline price.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Springdale, AR?

Good news: for the vast majority of rentals on RVezy, your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Springdale. Arkansas only requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating over 26,000 pounds, and nearly every Class B campervan, Class C motorhome, travel trailer, and fifth wheel on RVezy falls well under that limit. RVezy approved drivers are generally required to be at least 25 years old with a valid license, which is verified through the platform during checkout. Tip: if you're considering a large Class A diesel pusher, message the host first to confirm the GVWR and any additional driver requirements.

What's included to keep me protected during my Springdale RV trip?

You can book your Springdale RV rental with confidence: every RVezy booking includes a renter protection plan along with 24/7 roadside assistance. RVezy offers different protection tiers so you can choose the level of coverage that fits your trip during checkout, and that decision is made by you as the guest, not the host. Whether you're heading to Beaver Lake or driving the Pig Trail Scenic Byway, you have backup if something unexpected happens. Tip: review the protection options at checkout and pick the tier that matches your comfort level for your Ozark adventure.

What if I need to cancel my RV rental in Springdale?

Booking feels low-risk because RVezy, not individual hosts, sets the cancellation policy across the platform. There is a money-back grace period right after you book, plus structured options if your plans change closer to your trip start date. Because the policy is standardized by RVezy, you will not see a separate cancellation policy on individual listings. Tip: book early to lock in the best Springdale RV trip dates, and review the cancellation details at checkout so you know exactly where you stand before you confirm.

Can I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Springdale?

Yes, and Northwest Arkansas is a great destination for dog owners. Many hosts offer pet-friendly RV rentals in Springdale, and you can use the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy to see only those listings. Once you have your rig, head to Devil's Den State Park, where leashed dogs are welcome on miles of trails including the Yellow Rock Trail. Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area near Rogers and several Beaver Lake area campgrounds are also dog-friendly. Tip: message the host before booking to confirm any pet fees, and pack a sturdy leash because Ozark trails are made for sniffing.

Can the RV be delivered to my campsite in Springdale?

Yes, RV delivery in Springdale is one of the easiest ways to start your trip, especially if it's your first time renting an RV. Many RVezy hosts will drive the RV directly to your campground or other approved location, level it, hook it up, and walk you through every system before they leave. Popular delivery destinations include Devil's Den State Park near West Fork, Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area near Rogers, and Beaver Lake campgrounds. Use the Delivery filter when searching and message the host with your destination address. Tip: delivery is a great option for Walmart AMP shows in nearby Rogers since you avoid the parking stress entirely.

How far can I drive on an RV rental from Springdale, AR?

You've got plenty of road to explore, and mileage policies are set by each host so you can find what fits your route. Some Springdale hosts offer RV rentals with unlimited mileage, while others include a generous daily allowance with a small per-mile fee after that. Popular RV road trips from Springdale include Eureka Springs (about 45 miles northeast), Branson, MO (about 90 miles), Hot Springs National Park (around 220 miles south), and Tulsa, OK (about 115 miles west). Pro tip: estimate your total miles before you book and compare the included-mileage rates side by side. For a relaxed loop, the Pig Trail Scenic Byway down to the Buffalo National River is hard to beat.

Where are the best campgrounds near Springdale, AR?

You have great options for RV camping in Springdale. Top picks include Devil's Den State Park near West Fork (about 30 miles south), with sites tucked into the Lee Creek Valley; Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area near Rogers for forested sites close to Beaver Lake; Prairie Creek Park on Beaver Lake operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Withrow Springs State Park near Huntsville; and several private RV parks in and around Springdale with full hookups and pools. Tip: Devil's Den books up fast on weekends, so reserve early through the Arkansas State Parks reservation system.

When is the best time to rent an RV in Springdale, AR?

The sweet spot for an RV rental in Springdale is mid-April through early June and again from September through late October. Northwest Arkansas has a humid subtropical climate: spring brings mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s with frequent rain, summer climbs into the upper 80s and low 90s with high humidity, and fall delivers stunning Ozark foliage with crisp 60s and 70s. Winters are cool but many RV parks near Springdale stay open year-round. Tip: October is a local favorite because you catch peak fall color along the Pig Trail and avoid the summer humidity.

I've never rented an RV before. Will I know what to do?

You will be in good hands, even if it's your first time renting an RV. Every RVezy host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup or delivery, covering driving, leveling, hookups, the generator, slide-outs, water systems, and the dump valves. You can message the host with any questions before you book, and 24/7 roadside assistance is included on every trip. For a confidence-building first outing from Springdale, head about 30 minutes south to Devil's Den State Park, where the scenic drive on AR-170 is manageable and rewarding. Tip: do a slow lap around an empty parking lot at pickup to feel the turning radius before you hit Interstate 49.

What happens if something goes wrong on the road?

You are not on your own during an RVezy trip. Every booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, covering common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing. Springdale sits right on Interstate 49 with major service centers in nearby Rogers, Fayetteville, and Bentonville, so help is rarely far. You can also message your host directly through the app since most are local Northwest Arkansas owners who know the area well. Tip: save the roadside assistance number in your phone before you leave, and snap a photo of your RV's VIN and license plate so you have them ready if you ever need to call.

Can I take my Springdale RV rental into other states like Missouri or Oklahoma?

Cross-state RV road trips from Springdale are very popular and totally doable on most rentals. Springdale's central location puts you within easy reach of Branson, MO (90 miles north), Tulsa, OK (115 miles west), Hot Springs, AR (220 miles south), and even Memphis, TN (about 290 miles east). Just confirm with your host before booking, since some hosts limit the states their RV can travel to for insurance reasons. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental. Pro tip: a loop through Branson and then down to the Buffalo National River near Jasper makes for an unforgettable five to seven day Ozark adventure with stunning views the whole way.
nps.gov/buff/index.htm

How much should I budget for fuel on a Springdale RV trip?

Fuel is usually the second-biggest line item after the rental itself, but it's easy to plan for. Class B campervans in the Springdale area typically get 18 to 22 miles per gallon (MPG), Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 MPG, and larger Class A rigs come in around 6 to 10 MPG. Arkansas consistently ranks among the cheaper states for fuel, so you'll spend less here than in many parts of the country. For a long weekend loop from Springdale to Eureka Springs and back (about 100 miles total), budget around $40 to $80 depending on your rig. Pro tip: fill up at the Murphy USA stations along US-71B in Springdale, they're reliably among the cheapest in town.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Springdale?

Booking early is the move, and it's easier than you might think. Arkansas State Parks like Devil's Den and Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area accept reservations well in advance through the official Arkansas State Parks reservation system. Weekends from April through October fill up first, especially around University of Arkansas Razorback football games in nearby Fayetteville. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Beaver Lake (like Prairie Creek and Rocky Branch) book through Recreation.gov, typically up to six months ahead. Tip: for big event weekends or a Walmart AMP concert, lock in your campsite as soon as your dates are confirmed since the best lakeside sites disappear quickly.
recreation.gov/camping/gateways/2725

What are driving conditions like around Springdale?

Driving an RV around Springdale is manageable even for first-timers. Interstate 49 runs through town with wide lanes connecting Fayetteville, Rogers, and Bentonville, and US-412 heads east-west toward the lakes. The terrain turns hilly and curvy once you leave the I-49 corridor, especially on AR-23 (the Pig Trail) and the route down to Devil's Den, where you'll find tight switchbacks and steeper grades. Spring thunderstorms and occasional severe weather happen March through May, so check the National Weather Service forecast before heading out. Tip: avoid downtown Fayetteville on Razorback game days and consider Highway 112 as a quieter alternative to I-49.

What amenities can I expect at campgrounds near Springdale?

You'll find a great mix of options for RV camping in Springdale and the surrounding area. Most local parks like Blue Springs RV Park offer full hookups (30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer) plus Wi-Fi, hot showers, laundry, and a pool. Arkansas State Parks like Devil's Den offer Class AAA sites with full hookups, plus electric-only and primitive options. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Beaver Lake typically have electric service, drinking water spigots, and shared dump stations. Pro tip: the dump station at Blue Springs RV Park and the one at Devil's Den are both well-maintained, and most state park entrances have a potable water fill station you can use on your way out.

What's actually inside the RV I'm renting?

You will be impressed by how well-equipped most Springdale RV rentals are. Expect real beds (often a queen in the main bedroom, plus convertible dinettes and bunks in larger rigs), a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and cookware, a bathroom with toilet and shower, air conditioning, a furnace, and seatbelts for travel. Many motorhome rentals in Springdale also come with a generator for off-grid power, a TV, and outdoor speakers. Campervan rental options in Springdale, like Class B vans, are more compact but still include the essentials. Tip: review the listing's amenities list and message the host about anything specific since many will include camp chairs, a grill, or bedding at no extra charge.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Springdale%2C%20Arkansas

What add-ons and pickup options should I know about?

There's a lot of flexibility built into your Springdale RV rental. Common add-ons include delivery and setup, generator hours, linens and kitchen kits, bike racks, kayaks or paddleboards, camp chairs, outdoor grills, and pet packages, each priced by the host. Pickup is typically at the host's home address in Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville, or Bentonville (all within about 20 minutes of each other), and some hosts can arrange delivery to Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA). Mileage policies vary by host, so check whether your rental includes unlimited mileage or a daily cap. Tip: if you're flying into XNA, filter listings by Delivery and have the RV waiting for you at your first campground, no rental car required.

How do payment and the security deposit work?

Payment is simple and handled entirely through RVezy, so you never need to exchange cash or send money directly to a host. You pay your rental total securely through the platform when you book, and the host receives funds after your trip starts. A refundable security deposit is held before pickup to cover any incidentals such as missing propane refills or extra cleaning, and it is released back to you after the trip if everything checks out. Tip: do a quick walk-around video with your host at pickup and drop-off. It takes two minutes and protects everyone so your deposit is returned quickly.

Is a family RV trip from Springdale a good idea?

It's one of the best family adventures in the region. A family RV trip from Springdale gives you easy access to kid-friendly destinations like the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Razorback Greenway (a paved bike trail connecting Bentonville to Fayetteville), and Beaver Lake's swimming beaches. For longer trips, the Buffalo National River (about 90 miles east) offers float trips, easy hikes, and stunning bluffs. Most Springdale RV rentals comfortably sleep four to eight with seatbelted travel seats for kids. Tip: pack bikes since the paved Razorback Greenway runs right through Springdale and is a great way for kids to burn off energy each evening.
