RV rental for Hinterland Music Festival: Summer Nights, Hillside Sunsets, and Campground Magic in the Iowa Countryside
Picture a grassy hillside bowl in rural Iowa, golden-hour sets, and a campground that hums long after the headliner bows out. Hinterland Music Festival turns St. Charles into Iowa's biggest summer music gathering every year. Bring an RV and your front row comes with a bed, a kitchen, and cold drinks waiting just a short walk from the gates. Here is why Hinterland is made for RV road trippers.
Absolutely great experience

We had a great time camping. Heather was great and very quick to respond with any questions I had. Camper was great and everything that was included with our trip. I would definitely be renting from them again.

Driving your RV to Hinterland is simple because St. Charles sits just off Interstate 35, about 30 minutes south of Des Moines, and travelers from the east or west can use Interstate 80 to reach Des Moines before turning south. From the north, take I-35 south past Des Moines and use Exit 56, the north route that serves the Box Office, tent camping, and RV camping lots. From the south, follow I-35 north from the Missouri border and continue to Exit 56 if you are headed to the RV campground, since Exit 47 serves single-day parking and car camping. Watch for festival signage on the county roads after you exit, and note that the Exit 52 ramps are typically closed during the festival. Plan to arrive during campground check-in hours with your RV pass ready, then park the rig for the weekend, since RV campers do not have re-entry once settled.
