Minnesota State Fairgrounds, MN, US
Driving your RV to the Minnesota State Fair is easy because the fairgrounds sit between Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul, close to Interstate 94, Interstate 35W, and Highway 36. From the east or west, follow I-94 to the Snelling Avenue exit and head north on Snelling until you reach the fairgrounds at 1265 Snelling Avenue North. Coming from the north, take I-35W south to Highway 36 east, then exit at Snelling Avenue and go south toward the grounds. During the fair, southbound Snelling traffic is usually directed onto Hoyt Avenue for the north and west lots, while lots off Como Avenue serve the south end of the grounds. Fair parking is limited and fills quickly, so if you are staying in the campground, arrive in daylight with your confirmed reservation and leave the rig parked for the whole visit. If you are camping farther out, you can drive to one of the free Park and Ride lots in a smaller vehicle or take an express bus straight to the gates.
