Private campgrounds near Johnson, including Hilton Beach Tourist Park, Otterhead Cabins and Campgrounds, Island View Resort, Paradise Point RV Park, and Papins Log Cabin Resort and RV Park, are reserved directly through each operator by phone, email, or their own website. Deposits are usually required to hold a site, and long weekends often carry minimum-night stays. For Ontario Parks properties in the wider Algoma region, such as Pancake Bay and Lake Superior Provincial Park, reservations are handled through the Ontario Parks reservation service and open on a rolling five-month window.
