Miramar sits in southern Broward County between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, wedged against the eastern edge of the Everglades. It is a suburban launch point rather than a camping destination in itself, so RV renters typically base at private parks in neighboring Davie, Hollywood, and North Miami, then drive to beaches, the Everglades, and the Florida Keys. The closest full-service option is the Davie/Fort Lauderdale KOA Holiday, a small property in the Town of Davie with a heated pool, laundry, and an on-site store. Hollywood KOA and Twin Lakes Travel Park sit just east toward US-1 and the coast, while Northcoast Park and Marina and Yacht Haven Park and Marina add waterfront sites farther up the Intracoastal in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. Public camping is not available inside Miramar city limits.
