Campgrounds and RV parks near Pelican Bay, FL

Pelican Bay sits on the Gulf Coast in Collier County, just north of downtown Naples and south of Bonita Springs. The area serves as a practical base for RV travelers heading to Southwest Florida beaches, the western edge of the Everglades, and the barrier islands of Marco and Sanibel. Interstate 75 and US 41 (the Tamiami Trail) both run nearby, keeping most campgrounds within a short drive of the community. RV parks in the immediate area lean toward destination resorts with full hookups, paved pads, and pool complexes rather than rustic tent sites. Lake San Marino RV Resort sits north of Pelican Bay off Old US 41, while Neapolitan Cove RV Resort is closer to central Naples. Imperial Bonita Estates and Bonita Lake RV Resort are located just up the coast in Bonita Springs, and Northtide Naples RV Resort is a 55-plus community catering to snowbird stays. Public camping in the region is limited, so most trip planning centers on private resorts, with state parks like Collier-Seminole and Koreshan available for shorter stays farther out.

Private resorts in the Pelican Bay area handle their own reservations directly, either by phone or through the resort website. Deposits are typically required at booking, and cancellation windows commonly run two weeks or longer for winter stays. Monthly rates are widely available at parks like Lake San Marino RV Resort and Imperial Bonita Estates, and long-term winter stays should be reserved well in advance of the season. For state park camping in the region, Florida State Parks uses its own reservation portal at Reserve.FloridaStateParks.org. Florida residents can book up to 11 months in advance, and non-residents up to 10 months in advance. National park sites and federal recreation areas use Recreation.gov. Check size and age restrictions before booking, as some resorts near Naples limit rigs by class or restrict older units.
