Campgrounds and RV parks near Seneca, KS

Seneca sits in Nemaha County in the rolling farmland of northeast Kansas, along US Highway 36 about halfway between Marysville and Hiawatha. It works well as an overnight stop for RVers crossing the state and as a base for exploring the Nebraska border country, Brown County lakes, and the small historic towns of the region. Campground options near Seneca are a mix of small private RV parks and rural recreation areas. Baileys RV Park sits on the west side of Seneca off US 36, with concrete pull-through sites, full hookups, and a small fishing pond. Sycamore Springs Whitetail Ranch RV Park, north of Sabetha, has full-hookup sites spread across roughly sixty-two acres with a creek, a stocked pond, and a large indoor wood roller-skating rink. Sac and Fox Casino RV Park in Powhattan offers a small twelve-site electric lot next to the casino with water and a dump station, and Meadow View Park in Hiawatha provides RV sites off Highway 73. For a more rustic stay, Verdon State Recreation Area sits about an hour north across the Nebraska line, with primitive sites shaded by mature trees on a small spring-fed lake.

Private RV parks in the Seneca area are booked directly with the owner. Baileys RV Park and Meadow View Park take reservations by phone.
