Campgrounds and RV parks near Nedrow, NY

Nedrow sits just south of Syracuse in Onondaga County, on the northern edge of the Finger Lakes region. The location puts RV travelers within easy reach of glacial lakes, state forest land, and the cultural draws of central New York, while keeping full-service supermarkets, fuel, and RV supply stops close at hand. Campground options in the surrounding area range from state park sites with electric hookups to fully amenitized private resorts. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort caters to families with pools and scheduled activities, while Green Lakes State Park offers wooded sites near a swim beach and hiking trails around two meromictic glacial lakes. Pleasant Lake RV Park and Forest Lake Campground fill the mid-range niche with hookup sites geared to longer stays. For travelers building a wider itinerary, Cortlands Country Music Park and Campground works as a music-events base south of Syracuse, and the region connects easily to Skaneateles, Cazenovia, and the greater Finger Lakes wine trails.

New York State Parks, including Green Lakes State Park, are reserved through the state's ReserveAmerica-powered system at newyorkstateparks.reserveamerica.com or by phone at 1-800-456-2267. Sites become bookable up to nine months in advance on a rolling window, so popular summer weekends open early and fill quickly. Filtering by site type and vehicle length is important because state loops mix shorter electric sites with a newer full-hookup RV area. Private parks in the area, including Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Pleasant Lake RV Park, Forest Lake Campground, and Cortlands Country Music Park and Campground, take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Holiday weekends and event dates at Cortlands sell out first. Call ahead to confirm big-rig access, hookup amperage, and any age or pet restrictions before locking in a deposit.
