What are campervans?

Campervans, a popular and versatile RV type, are known for their compact size and efficient use of space. They often resemble a raised-roof van and have sleeping, cooking, and limited bathroom facilities. Campervans typically range in length from 16 to 22 feet and weigh between 6,000 and 8,000 pounds, making them ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small families. Their smaller size allows for easier maneuvering and parking, making them perfect for weekend getaways, road trips, or city exploration. When driving a campervan, it is essential to remain cautious of height restrictions and adjust your driving style to accommodate the vehicle's size and weight.

2021 Campervan

My experience was, for the most part, very positive. Emma was very kind, agreeing to reschedule the trip when we made this request, and she was incredibly prompt in her communications with me. There was one minor problem with the electrical plug ins in the RV: after we plugged in a heater and a coffee maker, the plug ins no longer worked for the remainder of the trip. Emma, however, was very responsible about this, and is taking steps to correct this issue. The RV was also very easy to drive, which made the trip very pleasant indeed. Make sure to do take enough time before you depart to take photographs of the RV and to complete a full assessment before you leave. This isn't up to Emma to remind you, and she is very fair in all respects, but you should know that it is your responsibility to complete this assessment before you depart.

Campervan rental information

Renting a campervan generally costs between $200 and $300 per night, depending on the model, age, and included amenities. Fuel efficiency varies between models, but users typically expect 15 to 20 miles per gallon. Before setting off on your adventure, your RVezy host will walk you through the basic operations of your rental, including the black tank (wastewater from the toilet), gray tank (wastewater from sinks and showers), generator, and any other relevant features. Given the limited space and facilities in a campervan, it is essential to plan for the availability of public restrooms and showers and consider the vehicle's storage capacity when packing for your trip.
