With 328 hectares of natural wildlands and access to the sea, this is the first and best place to see the New World Island. It is just a few minutes away from the ferry to Fogo and Change Islands. They offer this as well as the standard park experience - trails for biking and hiking, pristine (but chilly) waters for swimming, fishing, or kayaking, as well as day-use and picnic areas, plus activities organized by the staff for kids and groups. The park offers larger lots for RVs and trailers, with full hookups, sewage disposal on site, plus great modern facilities with washrooms, showers, and laundry.
