Robert was a pleasure to deal with. He was on time for delivery. He went above and beyond to fix a water pressure issue and brought the table that was missing for camper. The camper was clean and had the essentials that were noted in the ad. If you have kids and are planning to use the DVD part, bring your own, as the selection is small. We would gladly rent from him again.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Walkerton, ON

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Walkerton, Ontario?

An RV rental in Walkerton is one of the most affordable ways to explore Bruce County and the Saugeen River region. On RVezy, you'll typically find travel trailers from around $90 to $175 CAD per night, campervans and Class B motorhomes in the $150 to $250 range, and larger Class C motorhomes from $200 to $350 per night, plus fuel and any host add-ons. To find a cheap RV rental in Walkerton, book mid-week trips in June or early September when summer crowds thin out. Bundling kitchen kits and bedding from your host is often cheaper than buying gear, and many local hosts offer delivery within Brockton township.

What licence do I need to rent an RV in Walkerton, Ontario?

Good news for first timers: a regular Ontario Class G driver's licence (or its equivalent from your home province, state, or country) is all you need to rent an RV in Walkerton. No special RV permit, air brake endorsement, or commercial licence is required for the motorhomes, campervans, and travel trailers listed on RVezy. Approved drivers are generally 25 or older, and you'll verify your ID through the RVezy platform during booking, so there's nothing to print or bring to pickup. Visiting from outside Canada? Bring your home licence plus an International Driving Permit if your licence isn't in English or French, and you're ready to roll into Bruce County.

Is RV rental insurance included when I rent an RV in Walkerton?

Yes, every RV rental in Walkerton booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can explore the Saugeen River trails with peace of mind. During checkout you'll choose your level of protection, and the plan covers accidental damage to the RV during your trip according to the coverage you select. Roadside help is built in, which is reassuring on rural Bruce County roads where cell service can dip. This is purpose-built coverage for peer-to-peer RV rentals, designed to remove the biggest worry for first time renters. Review the coverage options on the booking page and pick whichever level matches your comfort.

What if I need to cancel my Walkerton RV trip?

Life happens, and RVezy makes it low risk to lock in your dates. Cancellation policies are set by RVezy (not the individual host), and they include a money back grace period right after you book so you can change your mind without penalty. After that, the refund amount depends on how far out your trip is from your scheduled departure. If a winter storm rolls off Lake Huron and impacts your travel into Bruce County, reach out to RVezy support and they'll walk you through your options. You can review the full cancellation policy details before confirming, so you can book with confidence.

Can I bring my dog on my Walkerton RV rental?

Yes, a pet-friendly RV rental in Walkerton is just a filter click away. On RVezy, toggle the Pet Friendly filter and you'll see motorhomes and trailers where dogs are welcome. Walkerton is a great destination for four-legged co-pilots: the Saugeen River and Walkerton's trail system are leash-friendly, and Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area allows pets on its riverside trails. Many local campgrounds in the area welcome pets as well. Message the host before booking to mention your dog's size and confirm any pet-specific details, so everyone arrives ready for a smooth trip.

Can the RV be delivered to my campsite in Walkerton?

Yes, RV delivery in Walkerton is one of the easiest ways to start your trip, especially if you're new to towing. Filter for Delivery on RVezy and you'll see hosts who will drive the motorhome or trailer right to your campground or a private property in Brockton. They'll level the RV, connect water and hydro where available, and give you a full walkthrough of how everything works. Delivery fees usually scale with distance, so a drop within Walkerton itself is the most affordable option, while spots out toward Sauble Beach or Kincardine cost a bit more. It's a stress-free way to enjoy your first motorhome rental in Walkerton.

How far can I drive on a typical Walkerton RV rental?

You'll have plenty of range for a classic Walkerton RV trip. Most RVezy hosts include a daily kilometre allowance (often around 200 km per day) and charge a small per-kilometre fee beyond that, while some offer an RV rental with unlimited mileage as an add-on. That's more than enough to reach Sauble Beach (about 60 km northwest), Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park (around 145 km north), Owen Sound (about 60 km northeast), Kincardine on Lake Huron (about 50 km west), or a longer loop down to Stratford (about 95 km south). If you're planning a bigger RV road trip from Walkerton, message the host before booking to ask about an unlimited package, it's often cheaper than paying overages later.
