We had a blast at Lynx Lake campground ⛺️this trailer offers a bed with 2 bunk beds and then the table converts to a bed BUT just an FYI for future campers, the linens provided are only for the beds so we had to go buy bedding for my daughter(this is my first time using RVezy so I had no idea and this is probably normal but figured I’d post it for future renters like me who don’t know these things🤪). Host is amazing and super friendly and responsive.

I recently had the pleasure of renting a camper trailer from Lance for an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night adventure, and I can’t recommend him enough! From start to finish, Lance provided top-notch service that truly made the experience phenomenal. Lance was not just a host; he was a fantastic guide! Before I hit the road, he took the time to thoroughly explain every detail about the camper, ensuring I felt confident and comfortable. His passion for camping and the outdoors shines through in the way he takes care of his equipment and his customers. I appreciated how he patiently answered all my questions and shared insider tips that made my trip even more enjoyable. The camper trailer itself was immaculate—comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for my getaway. Whether I was cooking a meal, relaxing at the campsite, or settling in for the night, I felt right at home. It offered everything I needed to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort. If you’re considering renting a camper, look no further! Lance is the guy to go to. His commitment to exceptional service and the quality of his camper truly set him apart. I came away from this experience with wonderful memories, and I can’t wait to book with Lance again for my next adventure. Thank you, Lance, for making this trip so special!

Yes to neighboring states, no to Mexico. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance and roadside coverage don't extend across the border. Always confirm cross-state plans with your host in the messages so they can flag anything specific. Pro tip: the US-93 corridor north from Congress to Hoover Dam is one of the most scenic interstate RV runs in the Southwest.

How should I budget for fuel on a Congress, AZ RV trip?

Easier than you'd think. Most Class C motorhomes in the area get 8 to 12 miles per gallon, Class B campervans 16 to 20, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle. Arizona gas prices have recently averaged around $3.30 to $3.70 per gallon, with the Pilot in Wickenburg and the Chevron in Congress being your most convenient fill-ups. For a 500-mile loop (Congress to Sedona to Prescott and back), budget roughly $175 to $250 in fuel for a Class C. Pro tip: fuel up in Wickenburg or Wickieup rather than Sedona or Jerome, prices in tourist towns can be 30 to 50 cents higher per gallon.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Congress, AZ?

For peak snowbird season (December through March), book private RV parks like North Ranch and Pleasant Harbor 3 to 6 months ahead, they fill quickly with monthly snowbird stays. State parks (Lake Havasu and Alamo Lake are popular nearby options) open reservations 12 months out through AZStateParks.com and the good sites go fast for winter weekends. National forest campgrounds around Prescott book through Recreation.gov 6 months ahead. BLM dispersed camping along Ghost Town Road and around Wickenburg is first-come, first-served and usually has space, even in winter. Pro tip: midweek arrivals between Sunday and Tuesday almost always score a spot, even on short notice.

What are driving conditions like around Congress, AZ?

Mostly easy and very scenic. Congress sits at the junction of US-93 and US-89, both well-maintained two-lane highways with wide shoulders and gentle grades, perfect for first-time RV drivers. The big exception is Yarnell Hill on AZ-89 north of town: a steep, switchback climb gaining about 2,000 feet in 5 miles. Take it slow, use a lower gear on the descent, and pull over at the scenic vista if traffic stacks behind you. Summer monsoon storms (July to mid-September) can bring sudden downpours and dust storms, called haboobs, so check AZ511 before driving. Pro tip: drive Yarnell Hill in the morning when winds are calmest and crosswinds won't push a tall RV.
az511.gov/

How do I handle Arizona's summer heat in an RV?

Smart planning makes summer in Congress, AZ very doable. If you're booking a motorhome rental in Congress, AZ during June, July, or August, look for rigs with dual roof AC units and plan to be plugged into 30 or 50 amp shore power at full-hookup parks like North Ranch where AC can run continuously. Drive in the early morning before the afternoon heat builds. Higher-elevation escapes like Prescott (about 5,400 feet and noticeably cooler) and Flagstaff (about 7,000 feet) are within easy range for a cooldown. Pro tip: park with the bedroom side facing north or shaded by your awning, you'll sleep dramatically cooler and reduce strain on the AC.
weather.gov/psr/

Where can I dump tanks and fill fresh water near Congress, AZ?

You have several easy options near Congress, AZ. North Ranch RV Park offers hookups and dump facilities for guests, and the Love's Travel Stop on US-93 near Wickenburg (about 15 miles south) is a convenient highway stop for dumping and potable water. Pleasant Harbor RV Resort at Lake Pleasant also has dump facilities. Most full-hookup sites at private RV parks include sewer right at your pad, so you may rarely need to seek out a separate station. Pro tip: top off fresh water before heading into BLM dispersed camping along Ghost Town Road, the nearest reliable fill is back in town, and desert air will have you drinking more than you'd expect.
blm.gov/visit/state/az

What amenities should I expect in a Congress, AZ RV rental?

More creature comforts than you might expect. Most RV rentals in Congress, AZ come fully equipped with a queen or king bed, a dinette and sofa that convert to extra sleeping space, a full kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave, propane stove and oven, a bathroom with shower and toilet, roof AC, a propane furnace, and a flat-screen TV. Many hosts include a generator (great for boondocking on BLM land), outdoor awning, camp chairs, and kitchen kits with dishes and cookware. WiFi is typically through your own phone hotspot, cell signal is strong on Verizon and AT&T throughout the Congress and Wickenburg area. Pro tip: filter listings by the specific amenities you need (generator, bike rack, pet-friendly) so every must-have is locked in before you book.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Congress%2C%20Arizona

What add-ons and pickup options should I know about for my Congress, AZ rental?

Hosts make it easy to customize. Popular add-ons for RV rental in Congress, AZ include generator use (often $5 to $15 per hour or a flat day rate), kitchen and linen kits ($30 to $75 per trip), bike racks, outdoor grills, and tank dumping ($30 to $60 if you'd rather skip it). Pickup is usually right at the host's location in Congress, Wickenburg, or nearby Yarnell, and many offer delivery to North Ranch, Pleasant Harbor, or your private camping spot for a per-mile fee. Mileage policies vary by host but typically include 100 to 150 free miles per night. Pro tip: bundle delivery, setup, and dumping into one package, you'll skip every chore.
visitarizona.com/places/cities/wickenburg/

How does payment and the security deposit work?

It's simple and secure. When you book an RV rental in Congress, AZ through RVezy, you pay the full trip cost upfront through the platform, never directly to the host in cash or by transfer. A refundable security deposit (commonly a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on the rig) is placed as a hold before pickup and released after the trip once the host confirms the RV came back in good condition. Doing a quick walkaround video at pickup and dropoff is the best way to avoid disputes. Pro tip: keep all communication inside the RVezy messaging system so every conversation, photo, and agreement is documented.
