This was an entirely new experience for us and we could not be happier with the service and the beautiful travel trailer. Cheryl communicated beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect. They set it up quickly and explained everything these old first timers needed to know to enjoy our time. The trailer is spacious, comfortable and immaculate, it is well equipped with everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. We spent each evening in the heated massaging recliner chairs to relax before crawling into the comfortable bed. The three couples we were with were envious of how nice our unit was. We may be ‘fighting’ with two of those couples to see who gets it next time. I would rate our experience a 10. Would recommend Chrryl without any hesitation

The RV was in good condition and clean. I was pleased with the owners attitude and would be willing to rent from him again for that area of the country. I returned the RV early due to weather conditions, not directly relating to any problems with the RV. I did discuss with the owner some minor issues that I'm sure he will look into before future rentals.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Berryville, AR

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Berryville, AR?

RV rental in Berryville is a fantastic value compared to Eureka Springs hotels or Branson resorts. On RVezy, you'll typically find travel trailers from around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes from $150 to $250 per night, and larger Class A coaches from $250 to $400 per night. Hosts set their own pricing, so you can filter by price range and even sort for cheap RV rental Berryville options. Pro tip: booking midweek in spring or fall saves you 15 to 25 percent compared to summer weekends when Cosmic Cavern and the Great Passion Play pull in crowds. Book three to four weeks ahead for the best Carroll County selection.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Berryville?

Good news: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Berryville, AR. Arkansas does not require a commercial driver's license (CDL) or any special endorsement for personal-use motorhomes, travel trailers, or fifth wheels rented through RVezy. You'll just need to be 25 or older with a valid license from any US state, Canadian province, or your home country (an International Driving Permit makes things easier for overseas visitors). RVezy confirms your ID through the platform during booking, so there's no extra paperwork at pickup. Most first-time renters are surprised how quick the verification is, and you'll be cleared to head straight for Cosmic Cavern or Beaver Lake.

Is my RV rental in Berryville covered if something goes wrong?

Yes, every booking on RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the Pig Trail or US-62 toward Eureka Springs with real peace of mind. You choose your preferred protection level at checkout (not the host), and it helps cover damage to the RV during your trip. It is not traditional auto insurance, but it provides meaningful financial protection for renters in Berryville. Pro tip: if you are new to RV camping in Berryville, take a few extra photos at pickup during your host's walkthrough. It is quick, and it makes any post-trip conversation about wear and tear effortless.

What if I need to cancel my Berryville RV rental?

Booking is genuinely low risk. RVezy (not the host) sets the cancellation policy, and every reservation includes a grace period after booking where you can cancel for a full refund if plans change quickly. Beyond that window, refunds depend on how far out from your trip start date you cancel. You will not see a cancellation policy on individual listings because it is handled by RVezy directly. If something comes up before your Berryville RV trip, just reach out to RVezy support and they will walk you through your options.

Can I bring my dog on a Berryville RV rental?

Absolutely, and the Ozarks are made for dogs. Plenty of pet-friendly RV rental Berryville options are available on RVezy, just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter to see hosts who welcome four-legged guests. Hosts set their own pet rules and may charge a small cleaning fee, which is shown upfront before you book. Once you arrive, your pup will love Lake Leatherwood City Park in nearby Eureka Springs (leashed dogs welcome on trails) and the dog-friendly patios around the Berryville Square. Withrow Springs State Park, about 25 miles southwest, also allows leashed pets on its hiking trails. Message the host through the listing if you want to confirm specifics before booking.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Berryville?

Yes, RV delivery Berryville is one of the best ways to start your trip stress-free, especially if it's your first time renting an RV. Many RVezy hosts will drive the motorhome or travel trailer directly to your campsite at places like Cosmic Cavern Campground, Wanderlust RV Park in Eureka Springs, or a lakeside spot on Table Rock Lake, then level it, hook up water and power, and give you a full walkthrough. Use the Delivery filter on RVezy to see who offers it and their per-mile rate. Pro tip: delivery is gold if you're flying into Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) or Branson Airport (BKG) and don't want to tow.

Where are the best campgrounds near Berryville, AR?

You're spoiled for choice. For Table Rock Lake access, Long Creek Recreation Area, a US Army Corps of Engineers campground about 20 miles north, is a local favorite. Pro tip: book Wanderlust and Withrow Springs at least 6 to 8 weeks ahead for summer weekends, they fill up fast.

When is the best time to rent an RV in Berryville?

April through early June and late September through October are hands-down the sweet spots for a Berryville RV trip. Spring brings dogwoods and redbuds blooming across the Ozarks with highs in the 65 to 78°F range, while fall paints the hills gold and crimson with comfortable 60 to 75°F days. Summer (June to August) is warm and humid with highs around 88 to 92°F, great for swimming in Beaver Lake or floating the Kings River but bring an RV with strong AC. Winter is mild but variable (30 to 50°F highs) and many rentals stay available year-round. Pro tip: come during October's peak foliage for the best scenic drives along Highway 23 (the Pig Trail).

I've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay around Berryville?

You'll do great, especially here. Berryville sits in a small-town setting with wide rural roads, light traffic, and easy parking, which makes it one of the more beginner-friendly places to learn. Every RVezy host gives you a full walkthrough at pickup covering driving, hookups, the generator, slide-outs, and dumping tanks, so you won't be guessing. For first time renting an RV, start with a smaller Class C motorhome or travel trailer and ease into the curvy stretches around the Pig Trail (Highway 23) or Rockhouse Road. Pro tip: if city driving makes you nervous, choose a host who offers delivery so you can skip the highway portion entirely and start your trip already parked.

What happens if I have a breakdown or issue during my trip?

You are never on your own. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, covering flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, towing, and emergency fuel delivery. If something feels off, one call connects you with help, and your host is also just a message away through the RVezy app for questions about the specifics of their RV. Berryville is well served by service providers in Carroll County and nearby Harrison and Eureka Springs, so help arrives quickly even on backroads. Pro tip: snap a photo of the RV's VIN and your booking details before you leave the driveway, it speeds things up if you ever need to call in.

What are the best road trips from Berryville?

Berryville is a launchpad for some of the best RV road trips in the Ozarks. Head 13 miles west to Eureka Springs for Victorian streets and Beaver Lake, drive about 50 miles north to Branson, MO for Silver Dollar City and the Table Rock Lake area, or go roughly 55 miles south to the Buffalo National River at Ponca where elk herds roam Boxley Valley. Bentonville (about 65 miles west) offers Crystal Bridges Museum, and War Eagle Mill (about 45 miles) is a charming Ozark stop. Cross-border RV travel into Missouri is fine on RVezy rentals; travel to Mexico is not allowed. Pro tip: the Eureka Springs Backroads loop is a one-day classic with plenty of scenic curves.
nps.gov/buff/planyourvisit/directions.htm

What kind of fuel mileage should I expect, and what does gas cost?

Budgeting for fuel is straightforward. In Berryville and across northwest Arkansas, gas prices typically run a bit below the national average, often around $2.80 to $3.20 per gallon for regular unleaded. Expect roughly 8 to 10 miles per gallon (MPG) on a Class A motorhome, 10 to 14 MPG on a Class C, 12 to 18 MPG on a campervan rental Berryville (Class B), and 15 to 22 MPG on a truck pulling a travel trailer (depending on the truck). Pro tip: the Casey's and Murphy stations in town and along US-62 toward Green Forest usually have the easiest big-rig pull-through access, and topping off before heading into the hills around the Pig Trail is smart.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Berryville?

For peak season (Memorial Day through October weekends, plus the fall foliage push in mid-October), book your campground 8 to 12 weeks ahead. Arkansas State Parks like Withrow Springs use reserveamerica.com, US Army Corps of Engineers sites around Table Rock Lake and Beaver Lake use recreation.gov, and private parks like Wanderlust RV Park or Cosmic Cavern Campground book directly through their websites or by phone. For shoulder-season weekdays you can often grab a site a week or two out. Pro tip: if everything looks full, message an RVezy host who offers delivery: many of them know private landowner sites or boondocking spots around Carroll County that aren't listed on big reservation sites.
recreation.gov/

What are the driving conditions like around Berryville?

Berryville driving is mostly relaxed with one fun caveat: this is the Ozarks, so expect curves. US-62 through town is wide and easy, but the scenic roads, including Highway 23 (the Pig Trail), Highway 21, Rockhouse Road, and Highway 221, twist through hills and dip into river valleys. Take them slow in a big rig and use lower gears on descents. Watch for deer at dawn and dusk, and check for fog in low-lying areas along the Kings River. Summer afternoon thunderstorms can be intense but pass quickly. Pro tip: avoid towing a large fifth wheel through downtown Eureka Springs (Spring Street is famously narrow); park outside town and shuttle or walk in instead.

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Berryville?

Campgrounds around Berryville range from full-service resorts to peaceful state park sites. Wanderlust RV Park and Cosmic Cavern Campground offer full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, sewer), Wi-Fi, and laundry. Withrow Springs State Park has electric and water sites plus a dump station, bathhouse, and swimming hole. US Army Corps sites at Beaver Lake and Table Rock Lake typically have electric and water with a central dump station. Free potable water fill-ups are easy to find at most state and Corps parks. Pro tip: Berryville's Walmart on US-62 has a large lot useful for an overnight in a pinch, but always go inside and ask the manager first, and never plan to dump tanks there.

What's actually inside the RVs I can rent in Berryville?

More than you'd think. A typical motorhome rental Berryville on RVezy comes with a full kitchen (fridge/freezer, propane stove, microwave, sink, cookware), a bathroom with toilet and shower, climate control (AC and furnace), comfortable beds sleeping 2 to 8, dinette seating, and proper seatbelts for travel. Most include a TV, many have Wi-Fi hotspots or Bluetooth speakers, and a generator or solar setup for boondocking off-grid near Beaver Lake. Outdoor awnings, camp chairs, and grills are common too. Each listing has a full amenities checklist, so you can match a family RV trip Berryville rig to your exact needs. Pro tip: filter by Sleeps count and look for outdoor kitchens, they're perfect for Ozark evenings.
arkansas.com/things-to-do/outdoors-nature/camping

What add-ons and pickup options should I know about?

RVezy hosts in Berryville offer plenty of useful add-ons that make life easy: linens and bedding packages, kitchen kits, camp chairs and tables, bike racks, generators, propane fills, and even kayaks or fishing gear for Beaver Lake and the Kings River. Fees are listed transparently on each listing before you book. Pickup is usually at the host's home in Berryville or a nearby spot in Green Forest or Eureka Springs, and many hosts offer delivery (great if you're flying into XNA or BKG). Mileage policies vary by listing, some include 100+ free miles per night, others offer unlimited mileage. Pro tip: add the linens package on your first trip, it removes a packing headache and the bedding fits perfectly.

How does payment and the security deposit work?

Payment on RVezy is simple and secure: you pay through the platform with a credit or debit card, never directly to the host. Your total (nightly rate, fees, protection plan, taxes) is shown upfront before you book, so there are no surprises. A refundable security deposit is held separately from your booking payment and released after the trip once the host confirms the RV came back in good shape. To avoid issues, walk through the RV with your host at pickup, take timestamped photos inside and out, and return it on time, at the agreed fuel level, with tanks emptied if required.

What's a local insider tip for visiting Berryville by RV?

Here's the move locals love: time your Berryville RV trip around the Saturday morning farmers market on the historic Berryville Square (May through October), then drive 13 miles west on US-62 to catch the late-afternoon light hitting the Christ of the Ozarks statue and Crescent Hotel ridgeline in Eureka Springs. On the way back, stop at Cosmic Cavern (the year-round 62°F cave is a lifesaver on hot July afternoons) and grab dinner on the Square. Pet-friendly patios make it easy with dogs. Pro tip: weekday evenings at Lake Leatherwood are the quietest, most magical RV camping spot in the area, glassy water, no crowds, and a short hop back to town.
