Renting from Donna was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Her communication was prompt, clear, and welcoming, making pickup and drop-off completely hassle-free. The camper was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were remarkably comfortable for a great night’s sleep after a long day outside. Donna is a top-tier host, and I would absolutely rent from her again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time renting this camper! Ray was awesome to work with. He went over everything with us when we picked it up and was always quick to respond if we had any questions. The camper was really clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. It was great to get away with the family annd enjoy some time together without having to worry about anything. We had an awesome weekend, made some great memories, and will definitely be renting from Ray again! Do yourself a favor and take your family camping for a few days too. Unplug, enjoy the time together, and make some memories. You won’t regret it!

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Robertsville, MO?
RV rental in Robertsville is an affordable way to explore the Meramec River Valley. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, campervans run about $120 to $200 per night, and Class C motorhomes generally range from $175 to $275 per night, depending on age, size, and season. Add nightly fees, mileage, and any host add-ons like camp chairs or generators to your budget. For a cheap RV rental Robertsville trip, book mid-week stays in May or September when demand cools but the weather is still pleasant along the Meramec. Tip: filter by Instant Book to lock in well-priced rigs before St. Louis weekenders book them.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Robertsville%2C%20MissouriWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Robertsville, Missouri?
Good news for first-time renters: a regular, full, unrestricted driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Robertsville. Missouri does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or special endorsement for personal-use motorhomes, travel trailers, or campervans under 26,000 lbs rented through RVezy, which covers nearly all listings. To qualify as an approved driver on RVezy you must be at least 25 years old with a clean driving record, and your ID is verified securely through the platform. Visiting from another country? Bring your home license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) if requested. Most renters are surprised by how straightforward the paperwork is, so you can spend less time on prep and more time on the Meramec River.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs RV rental insurance and roadside assistance included in Robertsville?
Yes. Every RV rental in Robertsville, MO booked through RVezy includes insurance coverage and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can head down Route O toward Robertsville State Park with confidence. During checkout, you'll select a renter protection plan that fits your trip and comfort level, with coverage levels that vary by plan. If a tire goes flat on I-44 or the battery dies at the Meramec boat launch, one call to roadside dispatch gets help on the way. That safety net makes a first Missouri RV trip feel easy, especially for first-time renters.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionWhat is the cancellation policy if my Robertsville RV trip plans change?
Booking is low-risk. RVezy, not the individual host, sets and manages a consistent cancellation policy on every reservation, so the rules stay the same across every listing you compare. The amount refunded depends on how far in advance you cancel relative to your trip start date. If plans shift due to severe Missouri storms, flooding along the Meramec River, or any other reason, message your host early and reach out to RVezy support to walk through your options. That consistency is why many St. Louis families book a Robertsville RV trip months ahead with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Robertsville?
Yes, your dog is welcome on many trips. Many hosts offer a pet-friendly RV rental in Robertsville, and you can find them quickly by selecting the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy. Robertsville State Park allows leashed pets (leash no longer than 10 feet) on its trails and throughout the campground loop. Bring waste bags, a portable water bowl, and a tie-out for your campsite. Tip: nearby Don Robinson State Park, about a 25-minute drive south, has sandstone canyon trails your dog will love after a morning along the Meramec.
mostateparks.com/park/robertsville-state-parkCan the RV be delivered to my campsite in Robertsville?
Yes. RV delivery in Robertsville is one of the easiest ways to skip the driving stress entirely. Many RVezy hosts in the St. Louis and Franklin County area will tow or drive your motorhome rental Robertsville straight to your reserved site at Robertsville State Park, set it up, level it, hook up power, and walk you through every system before leaving. This is ideal for first-timers and families with young kids. Use the Delivery filter to see which hosts offer it and review their delivery radius and fee. Tip: message the host early so they can coordinate arrival well before the park's quiet hours.
rvezy.com/trust-and-safetyHow far can I travel from Robertsville, and are unlimited miles available?
Plenty of room to roam. Robertsville sits just off I-44 in Franklin County, about 50 minutes from downtown St. Louis, which makes it a great launch pad for an RV road trip from Robertsville. Popular drives include Meramec Caverns in Stanton (about 35 miles west), Lake of the Ozarks (around 130 miles southwest), Branson (around 230 miles), and the Mark Twain National Forest (about 90 miles south). Each host sets their own mileage policy, so look for listings advertising RV rental with unlimited mileage if you're planning long days, or filter by mileage included and message hosts about extra miles for big loops.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Robertsville%2C%20MissouriWhat are the best campgrounds near Robertsville, MO?
You have great options. Robertsville State Park Campground (902 State Park Drive) is the headline campground, with 25 sites split between 13 electric and 12 basic sites, a dump station, shared water spigots, hot showers in season, and quiet wooded loops near the Meramec River. Just down I-44, Meramec State Park in Sullivan offers riverside sites with electric and electric/water hookups and the popular Fisher Cave tours. Pin Oak Creek RV Park (also known as Pin Oak RV Resort) near Villa Ridge is a full-hookup option about 15 minutes away. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Eureka is a family favorite roughly 20 minutes north. Tip: reserve Robertsville State Park up to 12 months ahead through the Missouri State Parks reservation system, especially for summer weekends.
mostateparks.com/park/robertsville-state-park/campingWhen is the best time to visit Robertsville for an RV trip?
Late April through mid-October is prime time for RV camping Robertsville, with the sweet spots being May, early June, September, and October. Spring brings wildflowers and dogwood blossoms in the park's hardwoods. Summer days reach the upper 80s to low 90s with humid Missouri evenings, perfect for floating the Meramec. Fall delivers crisp 55 to 75 degree afternoons and oak-hickory color through the park. Robertsville State Park camping is reservable April 1 through October 31, when water and showers are on. Tip: book the first weekend of October for peak fall foliage and cooler campfire nights.
mostateparks.com/park/robertsville-state-parkI've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay renting in Robertsville?
You've got this, and you're not alone. Many renters at Robertsville are first-timers, and every RVezy host provides a hands-on walkthrough at pickup that covers driving, leveling, hookups, slide-outs, the propane system, the waste tanks, and the generator. You can message your host with questions before you book. The roads around Robertsville are friendly for beginners: rural Highway O is wide and lightly trafficked, and I-44 west toward Sullivan offers gentle terrain to build confidence. Tip: choose a smaller Class C motorhome or campervan rental Robertsville for your first outing, and ask your host about RV delivery so you can skip driving entirely.
rvezy.com/trust-and-safetyWhat happens if something goes wrong with the RV during my trip?
You're covered around the clock. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance, so a flat tire on Highway 100, a dead battery at the Meramec River boat launch, or a lockout at Robertsville State Park is one quick call away from help. For mechanical or appliance issues like a finicky fridge or AC, message your host directly through the RVezy app, since they know their rig best and can often troubleshoot quickly. RVezy customer support is also available before, during, and after every trip. Tip: snap photos of the RV at pickup and save your host's number and roadside dispatch in your phone before you leave the driveway.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionCan I take my Robertsville RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Yes, multi-state road trips are part of the fun. From Robertsville, MO you can easily cross into Illinois (about 70 miles east via St. Louis), Arkansas (around 220 miles south), Kansas (about 270 miles west), or Iowa (about 280 miles north) with most RVezy rentals. Cross-border travel into Canada may be allowed depending on the host and protection plan, so confirm directly with the host in your booking conversation. One important note: travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage does not extend there. Tip: a popular RV road trip from Robertsville heads down historic Route 66 through Stanton and Cuba, MO toward the Ozarks.
rvezy.com/terms-serviceWhat kind of fuel economy and gas budget should I plan for?
Easy to budget for. Most Class C motorhomes around Robertsville get 8 to 12 miles per gallon, campervans (Class B) often hit 15 to 20 MPG, and travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle (typically 10 to 14 MPG combined). Missouri gas prices tend to run below the national average, with stations in Pacific, Villa Ridge, and Washington off I-44 usually offering the best rates near Robertsville. For a 3-day trip with 200 miles of driving in a Class C, plan on roughly $80 to $120 in fuel. Tip: fill up in Pacific before turning onto Route O, since rural pumps closer to Robertsville State Park are limited.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campsite near Robertsville?
Earlier is better, and the system is simple. Missouri State Parks lets you reserve a campsite at Robertsville State Park up to 12 months in advance through the official mostateparks.com reservation portal or by calling 877-422-6766 (877-ICampMO). For summer weekends, holidays, and October fall-foliage Fridays, book 4 to 6 months out to lock in an electric site. Shoulder-season weekdays often have availability just a week ahead. The on-season runs April 1 through October 31, with reservable sites available year-round at most state parks; walk-ups may be accepted when sites are not reserved. Tip: ask for sites on the inside of the loop for electric hookups, and request an ADA cement pad if you want the most level setup for your motorhome.
mostateparks.com/park/robertsville-state-park/campingWhat are driving conditions like around Robertsville?
Driving here is refreshingly low-stress. Robertsville sits in rolling Franklin County farmland with mostly two-lane rural roads like Highway O, which is the main route into Robertsville State Park (about 5 miles east of I-44). Interstate 44 is the major artery and handles RVs of any size with wide shoulders and gentle grades. Watch for occasional deer at dawn and dusk, summer thunderstorms that can roll in fast, and narrow river bridge crossings. Winter ice is rare but possible December through February. Tip: check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map before heading out, especially after heavy rain when low-lying river roads can flood.
modot.org/travelers/road-conditionsWhat amenities will I find at campgrounds near Robertsville?
Plenty for a comfortable stay. Robertsville State Park offers 13 electric sites (30-amp), 12 basic sites, an RV dump station, shared water spigots (no individual site water hookups), hot showers and flush toilets in season (April through October), a coin-operated laundry, and a firewood supply through the campground host. Cell service is generally good throughout the loop. There are no full hookups, so plan to use the dump station and fill stations on your way out. For full water, sewer, and electric hookups, nearby Pin Oak RV Resort near Villa Ridge is a strong option. Tip: bring your own water jugs or fill your fresh tank at the campground spigot on arrival.
mostateparks.com/park/robertsville-state-park/campingWhat's included inside a typical Robertsville RV rental?
Most RVs come fully equipped to live in from the moment you turn the key. Expect a queen or king bed, bunks or convertible dinettes for the kids, a working kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, sink, and basic cookware, plus a bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower in most Class C motorhomes. Many rigs include a flat-screen TV, propane heat, roof AC, and seatbelts for every passenger. WiFi and a generator are common host add-ons, and linens and kitchen kits are often available too. Tip: when comparing motorhome rental Robertsville listings, check the Sleeps count and amenity icons to match your family size and trip style.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Robertsville%2C%20MissouriWhat add-ons and pickup options should I know about?
You can customize your trip easily. RVezy hosts in Robertsville commonly offer add-ons like camp chairs, outdoor mats, propane fire pits, generators, bike racks, kayaks for the Meramec River, linen packages, and kitchen kits, with prices typically ranging from about $10 to $75 per item per trip. Pickup is usually at the host's address in Franklin County or the St. Louis metro, and delivery to Robertsville State Park or a nearby campground is widely available for a flat fee plus mileage. Mileage policies vary, so look for listings with generous daily mileage or unlimited mileage. Tip: bundle delivery, setup, and a generator add-on for a true plug-and-play family RV trip Robertsville experience.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Robertsville%2C%20MissouriHow do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
It's simple and secure. When you book an RV rental in Robertsville, MO, you pay through RVezy's protected platform (never directly to the host). For bookings made more than 37 days in advance, a 25% deposit is charged at booking with the balance due before your trip; bookings made within 37 days of the start date are paid in full at booking. A separate refundable security deposit is held on your card around pickup and released after dropoff once the host confirms the RV is returned in the same condition. To avoid surprise charges, do a thorough walk-through with your host at pickup and return, take date-stamped photos, and review the host's mileage and generator-hour policies. Tip: empty waste tanks at the Robertsville State Park dump station before returning to avoid disposal fees.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I camp in winter near Robertsville, and how do I prep for cold weather?
Yes, winter RV camping near Robertsville is a quiet, beautiful experience. Robertsville State Park's campground is reservable year-round, but the on-season for water and shower service runs April 1 through October 31, so showers and water spigots are shut off from November through March. Daytime temperatures December through February average around 35 to 50 degrees, with occasional dips below freezing at night. Look for RVezy listings that mention a heated underbelly, enclosed tanks, propane furnace, and shore-power-capable heating. Bring extra propane, RV antifreeze for the freshwater lines, and an electric space heater if you're on an electric site. Tip: a winter weekend at Robertsville State Park often means having the wooded loop nearly to yourself, perfect for stargazing along the Meramec.
