Illinois only requires a non-CDL Class B license for non-commercial vehicles over 16,000 lbs, and the vast majority of rental motorhomes, travel trailers, and campervans fall well under that weight. On RVezy, renters must also meet the approved driver requirements, which generally include being at least 25 years old with a valid license.

July and August are warm and humid with average highs near 86 F, while winters can drop into the low 20s F with possible snow and ice, so cold-weather RVing requires a properly winterized unit.

RVezy uses a standardized cancellation policy that applies to all bookings, rather than one set individually by each host. The exact refund amount depends on how far in advance of your trip you cancel. If a host cancels your Springfield booking, RVezy helps you receive a refund or rebook a comparable RV so your trip can still go ahead.

A security deposit is held separately from your booking payment and is released after the trip, assuming the RV is returned in the same condition it was picked up. The amount is set per listing and is shown before you confirm your Springfield booking. Holds are placed on your payment method rather than charged outright, so funds are returned promptly once the host completes their post-trip check.
